  1. Here's a link: http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/renix-h-o-hybrid-99-intake-yes-possible-yes-its-easy-47578/
  2. Anyone ever try a 99+ intake manifold on a Renix? Possible? I know there will be throttle body issues but what else?
  3. Do it. It works.
  4. Finish up everything, including lift if any, then go from there. Standard procedure...........
  5. OP, did you get a chance to hook up with Boosted Technologies?
  6. Not only are the WJ arms boxed and curved for improved rigidity and tire clearance respectively, the end bushings are much larger and provide better handling and steering response. True, but you can reduce the steering wheel rotations by slapping in a ZJ quick ratio steering gear.
  7. Herd mentality. “Sheep only need a single flock, but people need two: one to belong to and make them feel comfortable, and another to blame all of society’s problems on.” -James Rozoff
  8. Assume you have a 4.0. What year truck? What size tank?
  9. It was hard to see from the pics that they were all the same wire color - it looked like there was a violet stripe on a couple of them. . So yes, that's not the problem.
  10. You need to use a standard graphics extension like .jpg, .bmp, .gif, etc.
  11. Mopar p/n 56001076. They pop up on Ebay sometimes. It's the blue module you want, not the black one. The blue module has the headlights on alarm.

  13. The Jeep ZJ "Teardrop" wheels had a chrome option back in the day. Probably some others too. Plus several wheel retailers sell aftermarket Jeep chrome wheels.
  14. Try some NGK ZFR5N plugs. Those and the ZJ ignition coil / harness TSB I did really smoothed out my idle.
  15. That's a Renix problem only. On an HO the CPS either works or it don't.
  16. Looks like an engine decked out in AMC colors. Nice!
  17. Heck, I'm just guessing too. I've done a lot of vehicle wiring and can't recall ever seeing a bundle of wires spliced together with different jacket colors unless it's a "foreign" splice. But I understand what Gene is saying. It's worth a shot and you can always go back to the way it was.
  18. Aftermarket cruise control kits tap into the brake light circuit to kill the cruise function when the brakes are applied, That 4-wire or 5-wire ? splice looks like where they did it - it's not a factory splice. I would cut that splice out, then connect the commonly colored pairs back together separately, i.e. the RED/VIO pair, and the other two/three if the wire colors match. It won't short anything and you can always hook the 4 or 5 wire splice back up if it doesn't work.
  19. 87-90 = 21 splines 91 and up = 23 splines
  20. The below is what the seat belt warning module looks like. It's not the chime module on the fuse block. Seat Belt Warning Module p/n 56006063 Black (or Blue) Chime Module on Fuse Block
  21. my manual renix has the 4 pin plug TPS for the auto tranny, and it was a manual from factory... maybe on some trucks they used whatever harness they had at hand... That's because some PO swapped an auto TPS in because it's cheaper.
  22. Well, I put these things on the rear of my MJ, went for a short ride around the block, then promptly removed them. Maybe I'm spoiled by the OME shocks I've been using for years, but they are way too firm for me. Not terribly so, but I much prefer my OMEs. I think Bilsteins 5125s are way firm too, so it's probably just me. I don't like them but it seems like everyone here loves them. :dunno: So I'll be listing them for cheap later in the classifieds. These shocks are from a local jeep dealership and have about 20 total miles on them. They came from a new 2017 JKU Rubicon. The lower bar pins and sleeves have been removed and new correct upper bushings have been installed and they are ready to bolt on to an MJ rear end.
  23. 91-93 ECUs are not all the same, especially the 91s. Not only because of transmission differences (auto or standard), Calif or not, RFI or not, etc. The 60-pin connector pinouts are different too. I tried a 93 ECU on my 91 and it wouldn't run because one of the ECU pinout functions appeared on a different pin and was mismatched to the 91 harness connector. If you have a 91 wiring harness, you will need one of the 91 ECUs.
