AFAIK, for the HOs the Max Cooling option came standard with the Tow package. The Max Cooling option also had the factory transmission cooler if equipped with the AW4. You could also mix and match any options you wanted when ordering, so anything was possible. My base model 91 also came with factory A/C and had the aux fan.

That's the base HO radiator w/o the max cooling option. Same one I had originally in mine.

That's a nice looking understated MJ with a boatload of SBC power. I'm guessing you surprise a lot of folks when the light turns green. I have spent many happy hours working on those Holley double pumpers one of the best carbs ever made in my book. Hope she always runs cool for you, and keep your foot in it. Congrats! -
Congrats on earning a Jeep Comanche (truck, not car) and welcome to the forum. You are fortunate it's has low mileage and it's a 91 or 92, the last years of manufacture by Chrysler and the rarest and most desirable models. Post some pics on the forum when you can.

It's 20" from the center of the wheel cap to the bottom of the flare Sam. And that's with using longer than stock (about 1") Teraflex extended shackles. I had to add these to get the rear end back up as the MT springs compressed and settled down an inch during the first year. -

If that SF8953003385 sticker is correct it's a Wrangler transmission - maybe. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f218/ax-5-transmission-change-194495.html http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/products/Jeep/1985/TRANSMISSION-ASSEMBLY--Manual-AX4--AX5-1986-25L-Four-Cylinder--4WD/4386341/05252224.html- 10 replies

I didn't notice at first you're going SOA. You do know the 3+2 MT springs will really jack you up - like 6" over the SUA MJ stock height at minimum? Is this what you want? -
Glad to help Brett.

Damn, everything look great, especially those A/C lines and the compressor. How did you do it? Replace them all (doubtful) or meticulous painting? -
Jesus. I thought this rig had to be from central Alabama and snapped the plate - Mississippi. Close. There's a saying here in Bama: Thank God for Mississippi or we'd be last in everything. :LMAO:

The 3+2 MT 1700LB spring listed is the only one General Springs has ever had. I bought a set when they were first listed about 7-8 years ago. Initially they gave me almost a 3" lift over what I had as my stockers were very sagged. They eventually settled down slightly less than 1" over the stock MJ height. But it'll vary truck-by-truck. It's not like we have a lot of choices for ready-made MJ MT springs. Hell Creek Suspensions used to make them too, but it looks they stopped. -
If ComancheKid doesn't want it, I'll take it.

Have you tried both the ATP and the Omix? I've been looking forever for a NOS cable with no luck.

My GS metric springs don't ride any harsher than the stockers they replaced after they got broken in. It took ~500 miles. An 3+2 MT spring is nothing but a stock spring with an extra overload spring for more carrying capacity. Good to have when you need it. OME rear shocks and GS MT springs work well together and ride / handle much better than the stock springs I had. -
Yeah, I streamed it. McGregor did better than I thought he would, and he didn't disgrace himself. Made a good chunk of change, but he should stick to his day job. Floyd did look old in that fight - in his prime it probably wouldn't have gone past three rounds.

Driving on a bad tailshaft bushing
HOrnbrod replied to Minuit's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I drove mine around at least two weeks until I figured out what the problem was. Did the u-joints first, no joy, then ordered and waited for the bushing and seal to arrive. As long as it's not pouring fluid out the tail, a week should be okay. Just force yourself to drive like an old lady. -
We think alike.

I love boxing, but this $100 PPV joke spectacle I'll definitely be passing up. Here's an MMA fighter with a 0-0 boxing record (McGregor) going against arguably the best defensive boxer ever. It will last only as long as Mayweather wants it to because I doubt if McGregor will ever land a punch. What I'd love to see is McGregor, because he's getting pecked to death and hasn't landed a punch yet, go berserko in the 4th or 5th and body-slam Mayweather repeatedly then toss the jerk out of the ring. That would be sweet. :rotfl2:

Where are you going to find a 10:1 box? Special order? From an old dirt track stock car? They would be super twitchy on the road. 12:1 was the quickest factory bolt-in Saginaw box I know of, and they are super hard to find.
