Having been rear ended twice, I think a high mount brake light would be best. Probably not cheap though. As for the light strips, too low and not enough of a gap between the tailgate and the bumper to get any benefit. Lastly, I've had LED taillight/reverse bulbs in the last two MJ's (and current XJ) and have never had a problem. The reverse lights are like low hanging flood lights. Works out good in the XJ because all my factory tinted rear glass has additional 30% tint over it. Makes it limousine black.

Local brewery Mast Landing has a peanut butter stout that's excellent! "Gunner's Daughter" I'll drink 2 maybe 3, from a cold glass. They're only available in 4 packs, so.

Old school or not, stock bench seats remind me of the uncomfortable fold out sofa I had to sleep on 50 years ago when I visited my grandmother . I couldn't get the bench out of my truck fast enough. Bucket seats make it feel sportier. Besides, the cab's too small for a bench to be practical. I have reupholstered Eliminator buckets and I love them.

The lenses were $200ish, yes? Any inkling on the price for the entire assembly?

After a couple sub-zero nights and sub-zero wind chill days, today's high was 44. I was overheating in a windbreaker driving to the grocery store.

At one point I put a list together, but only a few are truly memorable. First and only off the lot, new car; '76 Buick Opel by Isuzu ... fun little car. '99 P71 Crown Vic, retired federal car (@30K miles) with the "street appearance package". Always had people guessing. '04 VW Jetta VR6. Thing was a rocket ship and had the Monsoon stereo system. Amazing tunes. Otherwise, mostly van's and trucks with an occasional coupe. Motorcycles are on a different list. Rupp Roadster to FLHTPI (and nearly everything in between).

Release date of April 2023 with a price TBA. Remain seated because they won't be inexpensive. I'd love to see them illuminated. As for the blacked out look, not a fan. Taillights should be red and reflective IMO.
