  1. Found an NOS bottle on eBay and @saveevryjp1998 came through with the relay cover!
  2. Just what I needed ...
  3. Sweet!
  4. This little guy was on my doorframe when I got home last night. Y'think he thinks he blends?
  5. I've had both. Unless you're the Stig from Top Gear, you'll never notice the difference. Except perhaps at Home Depot. Beyond that, I think it's more of a preference than anything else. I was in search of a long bed when I found my current truck. Couldn't pass it up. It's everything I wanted except the bed.
  6. Kodak moment on the way back from the car wash ... purdy, ain't it?

    Gas prices

Still hovering around 4 bucks/gal in NH. ~$2 more than it should be, but I digress.
  8. Looks like it's reduced to $19,500 OBO
  9. Great! thanks
  10. Anyone have one or both of these? I have an 88 renix 4.0. Please, thank you Tim
  11. Looks great!
  12. $20,000 1991 Jeep Comanche Short Bed 4x4 Automatic Engine-4.0L High Output Rebuilt 2014 Bored .20 over, 4hole bosch injectors New paint job, Pioneer striping kit, new undercoating. New a/c pump with recharging. Radio works well. Interior has been shampoo'd. New upper ball joints, alignment. New intake manifold gasket, new flowmaster 40 exhaust, K&N intake distributor cap, alternator, new lug nuts, bed lining. Late model Jeep wheels and tires. Window tinting. Bilstein shocks. Shackle lift in rear, 3.5" springs in front. Runs and drives really well. Would make a good garage queen. Just over 6,000 Jeep Comanches were built in 1991-1992. Making these years the most rare models. I am guessing about 1000 or so were made with this rare short bed 4x4 Automatic 4.0HO motor between the two years

    Big changes

Sounds like life to me. Study hard. Make good choices. Bring back/supply us with rust free parts.
  14. Random guy at the grocery store walks up and hands this through my window ... I was in my Cherokee.
  15. JW Speaker are awesome, but cost prohibitive.
  16. That's why I have left mine stock, but Holley did it right. I have Truck-Lites in my XJ which are a noted performance improvement. Tried them in my MJ but they just didn't look right. IMO everything else out there looks horrible.
  17. The only cap is on the bottle. When the truck is cold, the fluid is at the lower mark. As far as I know, it's a stock 1988 4.0 system, so is that open or closed? With the exception of the hoses and clamps I've replaced, it all looks original. I've returned home after traveling the 13 miles from work (mixed highway and surface streets) and when I shut the truck down, the tank fills. It bubbles to full. Similarly, I was in the drive through at a local burger joint and I could hear bubbling. The idiot light has never come on and when I open the hood, it doesn't seem to be excessively hot.

  21. Operative phrase. I have a dummy light cluster. I was reflecting on that in your earlier reply about having a helper. Not much help if there's no gauge. That appears to be a WalMart special not a Volvo cap. Still, I'll pick one up today because my existing cap doesn't seat. I'll go hand tight and it will skip and spin another revolution.
