  1. I live about 5 minutes from Westminster.
  2. A vortec 5.3 is not the same a vortec 350. Nice looking MJ but I hate the 2500 conversion.

    I Have No Idea.

    What is a "JC"?
  5. To bad you are on the wrong coast, I have the wheels you are looking for and would trade for the moabs.
  6. I don't have the link handy, the build thread is/was on LS1tech.com. I tried a search on there a few days ago but did not have time to go through all the search results. If I can manage to keep murphy('s law) at bay I will have my own build thread updates starting soon on my 5.3L/4L60 swap. So far this year it seems like every time I take two steps forward they are followed by taking three steps back.
  7. Please throw those TJ flares in the trash, at least if you are going to use TJ flares use the rears. JMO....worth $0.02

I have considered getting the "Comanche" and "4x4" badges redone in the newer style Grand Cherokee font. This company says they can make anything you want http://billetbadges.com/ I have no idea on the cost though.
  13. I work with a guy that still calls my MJ an S-10 and this is the second MJ I have had since working with him. I have explained a few times that it is a jeep but he still calls it a S-10.

    Foose'd Mj

Some of you guys on the left coast should enter your MJ's for overhaulin, being on the right coast I know I don't have a chance.
  15. That is a nice truck, I'd rather see one like this ^ rather then some rattle canned "resto". Different strokes for different folks although I'm not big on movie clones more power to you if it is done right.
  16. The average price at the junkyard is $600 for just the motor. I guess I'll start at $600 for motor/trans(AX-5 2wd)/ECU & engine harness. I will even include a NP231(21 spline input) transfer case. I also wanted to add that I will not remove the engine till I recieve a deposit. PS maybe I should start a for sale ad :)
  17. I don't deliver but I can ship by truck with no problem. Also would include the ECU and engine harness.
  18. Is there any value or market for a good running 1992 2.5L? I am still gathering parts for my swap so as of right now it still runs and drives. I honestly do not know if it is the original motor but it runs well and has great oil pressure. Anyone looking for a 2.5L?
  19. Look into vintage air http://m.summitracing.com/parts/vta-68000-vuz-a Been thinking of something like this^
  20. Small update: Started getting the wagoneer front D44 ready for tear down, cleaning, axle truss, new shafts, locker, ect. "No Direction" has changed directions again after a few months on the back burner, it now will be getting a 5.3L/4L60e/231-D300 I may substitute the doubler for an stak or atlas...if I can get a winning lottery ticket or sell the doubler(when it is finished).
  21. Any update on pics? Thinking of getting these myself
  22. sorry I have nothing to add but did Helen Keller cut those front fenders.
