I'm not that young...not that old either. Actually a "3/4 cam" was a flat head ford thing from the late 40's early 50's. I get a chuckle everytime I hear someone say they have a 3/4 cam.

What are the exhaust manifolds from? I did not read through the thread, what trans and x-case are you using? I have been considering this swap for a long time. I have a line on a 5.3/4L60e(4wd) for $1500 with all accessories, harness/ecu, and a warranty.

Just my $0.02, don't sell it, starting over later sucks and will cost more. I would explore every other possible option before I considered selling it, the money you get from sale now may sound good now but you will regret it later... Take from someone who sold a lot of $#!+ and did not come out much further ahead, just with less stuff.

The 10/5 is 21 spline output shaft, you would need a 231 from a 4cyl. wrangler. What is your location? I have a 231-10/5 I am not using, the trans is stuck in 1st gear but the 231 is in perfect working order.

If your slider is aftermarket check it over good, the rear glass is glued(same as the windshield). When I pulled a slider from the jy it was barely held in the truck, you could see where it had been leaking.

A LS_ swap will probably give you the most bang for your buck. You can find 5.3L's (300+h.p.)with a 4L60e and harness/ecu for around $1500

Care to reveal where you find all those running XJ's for less then $500? I have been looking for almost two months for a complete donor and most are about 2k.

It is a clean truck but I think MJ's look better without all that moulding/ground effect stuff going on.

I would pass on those gears, there is rust on them. Also a FYI when I had my shop I would not install used gears for customers, just not worth it having to risk a comeback for noisy or whining gears. I am not saying all used gears are bad but if the source is unknown 9 out of 10 times it is just better to get new especially since there is so much labor(time) to set up gears properly. Just my $0.02

Honestly I can't answer your question, I have not shot the 10/22 yet. I can't remember the brand name off the top of mY head but the mag does have the metal at the top, my buddy says he loves them. From what I have read and talked with people the Ruger factory mags work the best but also cost the most.

Is there anything wrong with your AX-15? Do you want to sell it and Where are you located?

Unless you want it for parts I would pass, the salvage title will kill the value if you ever want to resell it. Also would only give $300-$500 tops for it.

Taurs fans work really well in mustangs, the problem with the MJ/XJ is the small radiator. I still think the taurs fans would be ok. Just my $.02 worst case try them and if they don't cool it you can always sell them.

I did not know that bushwacker made the flat style flares for MJ/XJ, they actually look good.

Please do not put bushwhackers on your or any MJ Go for the 35's and 4.88s, if you get 33's you know you will wish you had gotten 35's. Just my $.10(inflation you know)
