  1. I'm gonna guess someone put them there to keep the coil things for the window regulator from sitting on the bottom and rotting out again.
  2. Congrats CW, I love reading your build threads, trailer and Mj.
  3. There was a group buy that went bad, but not do to the supplier. I belive the guy collecting everyones cash skipped with it.
  4. I wouls check all the wires that connect to the relay near the battery. They get fragile over 20 years. You may have bumped one loose.
  5. don't think so. Every thread ive seen on this says you need the cross dash harness
  6. Glad shes OK.
  7. Whats with the 3rd person seat between the buckets seats? Never seen that before.
  8. Not positive, But I think you also need the cross dash harness
  9. When I was in Florida, I was filling up the rent a car and gas starts shooting out the tank allover the place. I go in and tell the guy and he says "Yeah, the auto shutoff isnt working on that pump" :fs1: So instead of stopping when the tank was full it just backed up out the filler tube.
  10. Now that is luxury. A/C definately sounds like a luxury to me. I'm considering doing removable doors to help with the heat in the cab.
  11. Its a site that has links to a bunch of FSM years. Its just a white page with the blue links.
  12. I had a clunk/knock I couldnt find. Thought it was the trac bar also but turned out to be Tie rod end at the pitman arm
  13. There is also a procedure for the height sensor on the rear axle. I didnt have to bleed it when i put the new line and wheel cylinder on mine tho. Bleed order should be PS rear, DS rear, PS front, DS front
  14. There is a coil in the door. The ends rot and brake off so the window can't catch. My PS does this too, I have a new regulator to put in tho. If you pull the door panel and lift up on the window and start cranking the window crank it should catch.
  15. I would also get the rubber valve cover gasket from felpro, instead of the cork
  16. It also may have not reseated in the speedo gear properly, or wherever it connects to the cruise. I would pull the speedo gear from the TC and make sure it is seated properly. If it is, I would then check where it connects to the cruise.
  17. Your 92 may already have the longer links. I would compare them with the ones you put on the 88. The later ones have a different bend in them too.
  18. I could be wrong, but I don't think thats what hes talking about. I think hes talking abouth the round bushing that the screw goes into. Like the one the AC radiator (or whatever its called) is connected to the radiator with on an XJ. I had the same problem last week helping my friend with his, but we were converting to 4.0 so I didnt have to try and fix it. When I had to put a new rad in my XJ I just pried them up with a screwdriver to get them out.

    Welcome to the club
  20. It sounds like the piece that goes around to the other side of the air cleaner box or maybe the one to the egr. But this should probally be in the tech section
  21. Thats a nice idea. Mine are all wrecked too, from the wipers going over them before I replaced the bushings.
  22. Congrats on winning the beater of the day award. Imagine if you went from "beater of the day" to "MJ of the month"
  23. There is also a place on ebay that had them for a decent price. Don (hornbrod) had posted a link a while ago.
