Welcome back Paul. What kinda goods did you score at the JY. It amazes me sometimes at the stuff you find.

Ive seen videos of people just using a piece of steel plate to make up the angle of the upper "C" that the ball joint presses into instead of using the adapter to do it. What did you do to stop the upper from binding or going in crooked?

Will any ball joint press that says for 4WD trucks have the adapter thats needed on our D30? or is a special adapter specifically for jeep 4WDs needed? I'm talking about the adapter for the upper ball joint.

From the dash switch thats missing, it looks like it might have had a cargo light.

Once every 3 months or so, for the past year and a half this will happen to me. I unplug the CPS connector and then plug it back in. Truck starts and I'm good for another 3 months.

If the ax15 was in the 2wd I don't think you can hook the trans case up to it.

Send a Pm to Don (hornbrod). He has the same engine engine in his MJ and I think he HAD cooling issues at first.

Shows back of engine without tranny attached. You can see the rear freeze plug where coolant would leak(top one) and the other freeze plug (lower one) where oil would leak if it went bad.

Pretty nice looking truck IMO. Of course the MJ is better tho :yes: I agree, I would like to put one of those beds on the MJ.

I don't think it will make a difference because it is the end of the sheathing that clips into the bracket, then the cable connects to the shifter and slides in the sheathing. I switched mine from a column shift to a floor shift and moved the shifter cable thru a different hole in the firewall and it is fine.
