I really hate to go here, but maybe some folks will offer some guidance; so here goes. I'm pulling my hair out trying to find well-informed opinions (and hopefully pics) on daily driven mj/xj with 33" - 35" tires with different wheel options. Before you answer: I hope to daily drive it (100+ mile daily commute) I plan on a SOA and home-built longarms (6" or so) Looking at a 4:1 transfer case kit (so shallow gears can be used) A stock 4.0 will be in use (until the instant I can afford a stroker) I have an AX-15 A dedicated set of beadlocks with some real bias-ply tires will be set aside for off road use *I currently run 32x11.50 BFG A/T KO and love them; but they're too small and I may need better treadwear* SO: -load range options (read: don't want some stiff E ply tire) -visual appeal with cut fenders and 6" lift (can't be too dinky looking) -reasonable "all-terrain" capability (NO mud tires) -reasonable treadwear -low to moderate noise What's a guy to do?!

Not really a NEED as much as a want. I'd like to keep my sissy 3.54 gears when I upgrade to 35" tires and want to cruise to work and back while still having actual LOW range available. A 4:1 kit in a 231 fits that bill quite nicely. A doubler is a thought though... idk

Thanks for the pics. At 10" it would be quite squeezed between the factory buckets...

I still catch myself considering a 242 for that Full Time option. Too bad there isn't a low range kit for it :(

this is the one I used: -
I've heard of using a RHD OEM tray... can anybody verify that?

BOTH very pretty valve covers btw. had to say it. Jeep Driver; what application is that?

For the sake of not starting another redundant thread... I'm considering a dual tank setup as well. Why? I have a shortbed for one, and I drive an hour to work everyday. Would make extreme roadtrip-wheel-returnhometrip action possible! I'm considering going to aftermarket fuel cells ('cept the filler never seems to be in a good spot...) and I really want to retain the ONE factory located fill point. Plus I'm wanting to design a "switch-less" system that draws from only one tank. So yea there's my $0.02 for some discussion fodder.

Any links to build threads on these? I'd like to see them. Also check this out. http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/showthread.php?24704-Cummins-A2300T-Swapped-in-Jeep-Cherokee

Can't wait to do this to mine! Only thing that could offer better protection would be hot-dipping the whole truck!

pictures of the middle seat folded up? how wide is it (inches)

Ever seen this stuff? Got the insides of my frame covered in this after a major powerwashing session or three.

I'm thinking like 5-6 years from now when he/she is well out of a carseat. No shortcuts on safety for a little-bitty one!

I'm just gonna go ahead and admit that I'm quite silly when it comes to keeping original fit/finish on things like this. I love my factory buckets (need reupholstered) and I just know it would drive me crazy to have some different seats in there that either sat too high or were offset to either direction. It seems that with every "custom" seat install I've seen on here you're gonna be faced with that to some degree. I'm just too sceptical of my ability to arrange custom bracketry to my satisfaction. But the ability to carry along my soon-to-arrive mini me is something I'm really wanting to have, so I need to do something. I'd go with a factory bench seat if they had offered a 60/40 split with a center console and headrests. The only thing I can come up with right this moment is building a very basic, narrow, fold-down jump seat for the 8" wide spot between the factory buckets (don't need to have a storage console) and have a professional upholster it when I get my seats redone. Thoughts? oh yea and a cupholder integrated would be nice

1. Those seats (Corbeau Moab??) do look comfortable... any more details/pics on them? I'd really like to get my bucket seats fixed or replaced. 2. What floormats do you have? 3. Does that dye actually hold-up? -

has anyone come up with an effective aftermarket portal that can be used on different common axle housings??? You wouldn't think it would be too complicated... -
