  1. Still got the LP D30 in the '00? Great looking trucks, love the paint on the MJ
  2. Global Alliance? That's cute. I think "We're gonna take billions of dollars of your money, lose it, then you'll ditch us after a year." would fit a weeee bit better.
  3. How long was it sitting? Syphon the gas and replace it with fresh.
  4. I've got a hose and clutch master from an 88 XJ 4.0 BA 10/5 in my 91 2.5 AX-5. Slightly modified to work with the 86 AX-5 external slave setup. Basically, as long as it fits, it will work. Just watch though, they went to a $#(%%& plastic line in 91, and IMO is a pain to work with. It also mounts into the slave differently. If you use the line from the 94/95, you're probably going to need to swap masters. 94/95 would also be an external slave cylinder. Your 87 will be an internal.
  5. Any 4 cyl with a 3 speed auto should be an 86 IIRC, and would have the NP 207. I may be wrong on that, however.
  6. Not entirely true... in the motor pretty much yes, but unless you get a newer YJ crank, you need to have the snout machined down about 1/4". If you're running a stroker, you also need new(larger) injectors. If he's got a BA 10/5, he's also going to need to find an AX-15. BA 10/5 will not last long behind a stroker. I did just a gasket set in my 88 4.0, which was all I need. Why does your motor need a rebuild? I would tear it down, and see how everything is in there before you start buying stuff up. If all you need is gaskets and new bearings, it shouldn't run you more than $200.(If you do the work yourself)
  7. Just FYI, body lifts are not available for Comanches or Cherokees, since XJs are 100% unibody and MJs are unibody on the cab.
  8. Nice Cavvy  ... or Grand am, whichever it is.
  9. I don't believe this software supports embedded video.

  11. Where in Missouri are ya? I'll be down for about a week after Easter, if you're on the way maybe I could swing by and take a first hand look, maybe bless everyone else with pics? :rotfl2:
  12. Me, my dad, and my brother have been driving Jeeps almost exclusivly since 1994, and have never had any gauge problems that were the fault of the gauge itself. Only problems I've had was a speedo that didn't always work, and that was the cause of a worn down speedo gear. Gauges have been pretty reliable for me. :dunno:
  13. Personally, I hate Vbulletin. I don't think it clutters up the classifieds that much. I also agree that a huge contributing member might miss out on a great deal for a part or truck just because someone didn't want to be bothered working to be able to put something up for sale. I've been on boards that required you to have a certain number of posts(per DAY) in order to access the whole forum. It was pretty bogus. If you're concerned with other members maybe not noticing stuff you have for sale, I've seen a couple people on here who have links to their classified threads in their signature. I think that's a pretty good idea.
  14. The only mechanical gauge on any cluster is going to be the Speedo, so if they all went dead it's probably some other cause. Fixing that is going to be a lot better than trying to wire up a Renix cluster in there.
  15. Looks like plastic...
  16. Yup, 84-90 XJs and 86-90 MJs used a cable driven speedometer.
  17. Piece of cake! Bed mount it....................monster truck style! :agree: :agree: :agree:
  18. Wk = IFS :ack:
  19. That's what SHE said...
  20. 98 was the last year for the ZJ. 93-98 ZJ 99-04 WJ 05+ WK Remember, earlier model V8 ZJs came with a 318

  22. Buy another MJ  From what little experience I have working of Fords, nothing is ever easy with those things.
  23. From those it looks like a D35, but we'd need a pic of the cover to verify. Which one does it look like?
  24. I've got a 92 4.0 which is destined for a stroker, and when I was cleaning/rearranging the shed yesterday I tapped on it and realized it was the plastic one. I have a metal one off my 88 4.0. Can I put the Renix one on the HO? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to having the metal vs. the plastic one?
  25. Put the proper lug nuts on for my wheels so they don't fall off anymore
