Thank you . I’ve never seen one. I will have to start looking out for them when I’m junk yarding. -
Skid plate year comparability

If you do grab it, can you post a picture of it? Not sure if I’ve ever seen one?? -
I’m speechless

It would have been a good price if it had worked out. $125 a wheel. I am going to let the Jeep guy give it a go at it, so I think it can only get better 🫰

89 Pioneer | Project BlackHorse

That looks like a really clean starting point. It looks to be aged but in great condition. I vote the LS 6.0 swap so I can live vicariously through you -
I wanted to change the look a bit on the rebuild. The wheels are a bit too “bling” ish this time around. Just looking to get a more modern look. The Jeep shop owner found a guy who is starting to get into powder coating wheels. Very happy with how much he was charging, so heck yeah. I wanted the wheel powder coated black and the ring polished. The rims were in really poor condition. I don’t think he was really aware of how much it would take just to get them ready to coat. The wheel surface looks all pitted through the coating and it looked like he took a belt sander to some of the surfaces . The ring looks more machined then polished. It looks good from 5 feet away but it’s poorly done -> Dee agrees and is going to talk to the guy and see what he is going to do about it. I believe I’m going to have the ring painted the color of the truck but not sure yet? Any opinions on that?

I appreciate that

Thanks, that would be great! I have just been waiting to research what has been done before I attempt it. I have my old headliner that I can practice on

Tire Mount Ideas

Seen some pretty cool bed mounted spare tire carriers. I don’t have any pictures of them now though. I believe that Pete made his own. -
Bucket Seats not folding forward

Impressive! I got so fed up with mine, I just rigged it up with stiff electrical wire and a make shift pipe as a handle. It’s really is ghetto but it fixed the problem -
I was wondering that too

. Walking out to find this I would have thought how can my day get any better lol. He ruined the whole thing at the end. What a great story to tell though!

Thanks bomberjeep! Isn’t it great to hear that from your boy. I hope when mine is old enough he will want to take over the obsession

It’s awesome, but I can’t take credit for the idea though. I got the idea from USN_JeepMJ’s build up page! I am also thinking about the overhead console I have laying around

I just couldn’t handle looking at the job I did redoing the Sun visors. I really messed them up. Finger indentations everywhere . I had to redo them. Had no idea how I was going to get the material off them seeing as they had just been done. Ended up using paint thinner to soak the material with then left it for a while to dissolve the glue and hopefully it would come off -> It worked out well but it took some time to get it all off. I really took my time and did it all over again. Came out a heck of a lot better with almost no divots. Before-> And after -> I watched a few YouTube videos and one guy was using a pin like tool to pull up the foam and fabric. I will try it with a sewing needle and see what happens. I believe I’m the only one who will notice, so I can live with what’s there. One thing I did manage to do that can’t be easily fixed is I broke one of the mirrors somewhere along the way .

Clocking and then drilling new holes for the transfer case . What a shame on the paint job. A lot of progress on the truck so far!

A very nice looking truck

Very clean looking truck. Love the look of those tire sizes on that lift.
