  1. the orielys around me is normally pretty good. there was one guy in there that WAS BAD but hes gone now. worst experience i ever had was at an auto zone. before i went i looked up the part on THEIR website, so they carry it and it took me a min or two to find, no big deal. so i drive down the street... after i told them my vehicle info guy: what do you need? me: the o rings for the oil filter adapter guy:..... you get a new one when u buy the filter me: no its for the adapter that goes into the engine, not the actual filter we went back and forth and i finally got so frustrated i didnt know what to tell him. so i said.... it about this big round and black, i found it in two minutes on your website before i came here guy:.... I can't type that in the computer :hateputers:
  2. truck looks good. id vote to leave the flares too. i think your truck looks awesome with them on. but its your truck! nice xj as well
  3. love the color. truck looks awesome! welcome to the club. care to tell us more about the truck? :wrench:
  4. The 35s were nice. I actually just sold them though. they had some rot in them and i wasnt too keen on swapping tires over all the time. I doubled my money on them so I'm happy. ive toyed with the idea of keeping my ltbs and swapping them over to my chrome rims, that are x8inch wheel as opposed to a 10. the 8 has a better backspace too. not sure yet
  5. well its time i update the old manche. last i messed with it was in October :( we had a local meet up so i drove it there broke a shock mount :wall: (on the road) then we did some weeling and maybe 10-20mins in my truck starts running hot so i parked it for the rest of the day. She has been sitting with a dead battery since then. Well with Spring break around the corner i figure its time to get things rolling with her again. When i come home i plan on putting some MUCH needed electric fans on to keep the temps down as well as the hood spacer mod.(looks like crap but i need all the help i can get) redoing my rear break lines as well as improving the breaks. I also plan on selling my ltbs and rims in favor of a 12.50 with an 8inch rim with some more backspacing. I will probably do some with my shotty electrical work on the truck in order to clean all that up. Wish me luck! the research starts now :wrench: pics will be up when i get off my butt and make it happen
  6. when i lived in NC i had a 93 chevy work truck. i couldnt get it running so i took it to a shop and had it fixed, and had them do an inspection as well.... i had a burnt out headlight and the seat belts werent even bolted in. as well as a few other things. and it passed it really does depend on what shop you go to
  7. very funny. Gave me a good laugh to start my day this morning! :D
  8. what will you be doing in clemson?
  9. i love how the paint scheme on the cab is reversed. :D truck looks awesome :wrench:

thats a common thing down here ;) we got maybe 8inches on sunday night and I'm finally going back to school tomorrow(thursday) it doesnt take much to get us southerners freaked out... oh yeah we hooked a sled up behind my truck and pulled people around
  13. why a unibody? i wish my mj had a true frame. :???:
  14. happy birthday. thanks for the awesome site! :hijack: i love that commercial
  15. i would stay away from the 2.8unless you plan on swaping. to convert to 4x4 you need a front axle, trans, transfer case, and driveshafts. it all bolts in. not much to it really, all the parts can also be taken off of a cherokee
  16. woah old thread :D i guess we can just add two years to everyone now
  17. i really like that headache rack! keep up the good work
  18. i see no problem here
  19. very good points. the real question is will the guy that posted that over on JF feel the same way when it comes to her interests? id say doubtful. it goes both ways
  20. i put a card on a blue mjs windshield this evening. at the gas station in front of the walmart. hope they stop by! the truck looked clean.... if your out there POST UP :wavey:
  21. that stuff is worth every penny. around here that job would cost 350 with a lifetime warranty.... a diy herculiner kit is say 100 plus everything else i need to prep(plastic, tape, etc) then the time for me to do it, and its not guaranteed.
  22. i saw that thing... i doubt it goes to the crusher that soon... he had a j10 forever on their and if i recall he said he was going to crush it... still for $500 seems solid. wish i had the space
  23. awesome. glad you are keeping her alive. You are going in the right direction. Most would just write it off and scrap her
  24. might also want to look at your shackle bushings. the exhaust is routed out the passenger side. and if you exhaust isnt factory(like mine) and was routed to close by the PO(like mine) your bushing might be toast
  25. truck looks great! and my sis just moved from meridian. i never got to visit but from what i heard there wasnt too much going on
