it was on the side up top.... the drain is on the back lower. correct?

well took the truck down to the barn for some maintainance before my upcoming wheeling trip. changed engine oil and filter then drained the t case( hardly any fluid :oops: ) and then the tranny. first i pulled the fill plug off but what was weird is that fluid started coming out, and not just a few drops it leaked a good bit out when it was done i put the plug back in and figured id leave it be. so my question, how did that happen? did someone over fill it from the top? would it make a difference that i had the truck in 1st just confused me.

i don't think you will need to shorten the shaft... i has soa and mine needs to be lengthened if anything.... the shaft was for a d35 if that helps

well i fixed my 4wd lever :D simple as poppin a new bolt in. one little step at time... sigh shes getting there

put a bolt back in my 4wd lever so now i have 4wd :D

well yesterday and today have been productive... yesterday i cut out the fenders some more and hammered the inner pinch seam so i have a ton of tire clearance now... well a lot more than i did. then i went to the local truck stop and got an antenna mount and spring for my fire stick now I'm trying to recover from the stinkin heat! :ack: next is to fix 4wd lever door and winch bumper

good job on the truck! and graduation. i just did the same :smart: and driving a stick will come. especially since its running now

look in my build thread. i ran ran an xj aal for a while with a 4.5 kit. it sould show you what i ran and has pics to reference height
