depends... how well are they made? are they nice and beefy? also if ur ride is a bit rough they normally can make it smoother by reducing the drastic angle of the control arms at that height... its really up to you
-
you will have to get stuck where he can still access you... why not go for it :brows: also that semi didnt really seem stuck... just could get traction. and that srap looked on the short side!

camjeep3 replied to GP2001's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
when i bought my truck it had 3inch spacers in front(stock shocks-not good) and nothing in the back it looked fine with 31s look at my build thread. i wouldnt advise that large of a spacer. although with proper shocks that setup wouldnt have been terrible -

MJ Stock Bumper Towing Capabilities
camjeep3 replied to runner6's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
nice truck! and nice boat! what kind of fishing u do? most people here are a little weary when it comes to pulling with the stock bumper. you are most likely best off getting a reciever hitch. but I'm sure some others who pull with their bumper will chime in soon -

-
ok. so I'm ordering some 4.56 gears and what not for the truck, now I'm just wondering what else i need to do in order to install the gears? should i buy an axle overhaul? just certain bearings? there is alot of info out there its just not so clear it seems :???: i will be doing the same thing with my d30 front. also will the stock spring plates(things with shockmounts) work after the soa?( I'm not using the stock spring mount if it does work) i think thats all for now :dunno: thanks for all the help! and hopefully she will be on the road soon!

tons of charlotte area guys getting on here. Nice! i love the truck! -
do not lock the 35. my 35 lasted about one trip off road with my 33ltbs. i am replacing with an 8,8 from an exlporer, many came stock with limited slip wich will give u good on road with decent off.

a happy thing that happend to me, figured i would share. I was on my way home from the football game lastnight when i was passed by what i thought was a ranger, yota, s10 etc untill i looked to see a black mj lifted up a bit. i was in my grandfathers jk. we pull up beside eachother at the light, i look and he looks. so i crank down the window and say " i got an 88 i just blew the rear end out of." responce " nice, i just bought another 89, i rolled this one" the light turns and were on our ways. it was nice to be able to see another mj owner enjoying these trucks like it do :D
