  1. Well my buddy acquired a 96 xj. he decided he would part it out because its 2wd and isnt worth all thats needed to be fixed up on it. He asked if i needed any parts so I looked it over and noticed it had the dual diaphragm booster(I'm guessing, its larger than mine) my question is how hard will this be to adapt in my MJ. its an 88. Will i have to change or modify the rod? I know the wj boosters need some clearance on the firewall. What about the lines going to the proportioning valve? will they bolt up or will I have to bend some new lines. Also the jeep is equipped with an electric fan, will this bolt into my mj? i will wire it on a toggle switch so I am not worried about the wiring thanks for the help guys
  2. you see that alot around here too. People will cut through the side of the road then shortly after nails and other metal gets dumped in it

  5. you shouldnt have to worry. my jeep is lifted 6inches on 35s and the roof is still lower than my dads stock tahoe
  6. :wrench: glad to see its done, I hope the pics come back up, id like to get a better look at the truck
  7. nice jeeps :wrench: I had a set of 33x13.5 ltbs on my mj. i have to agree they do awesome offroad
  8. 3/4 tons will be a good idea, some things to consider, does the axle drop on the right side? do you have the know how to swap the axles and make all the brackets line up? are you willing to clearance the floors for the new trans and t-case? are you up to the challenge of putting the 350 in? A few have done it in the past and the biggest issue is trying to keep it cool
  9. If i were you, I would drop the truck down to 5 or 6 inches of lift and run 33s or 35s. It will be alot better on the road and trail. allso with 33s and maybe 35s you could keep your front dana 30 and swap in an 8.8 from an explorer or an 8.25 from a cherokee and be good to go. just another option for you to think about
  10. also those contacts don't look too good. Id try and clean them up
  11. He means put a socket on the crank and turn it. Its on the front of your motor, on the harmonic balancer. pull the spark plugs to make it easier to turn.
  12. Go ahead and repost your questions in the technical section so you will get more views and answers. truck looks good, pretty tall though. Is this going to be your daily driver? also do you know what gears are in the axles? :wrench:
