Luckily the state of Texas and Texas A&M hooked me up. No loans and all I’ve needed to do this whole time was pay for books. It pays to be a transfer student!
Torq_Shep Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Congrats! Are you staying in Texas? I worked down in San Antonio for the first 7 years of my career.

Yep, that's actually where I'm moving back to. I bought a starter house there that I'll get to move back into this summer. On 4/10/2026 at 6:38 AM, AnotherOldJeepGuy said: Awesome. Congrats! Philosophy but I'm planning on using it like any non-specialized business degree. Plus that aggie network should get me pretty far in itself lol

Having gone to a similarly large school, I have learned it's great being able to connect with so many others over a common topic.
75sv1 Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Part of College isn't what you learn, but to learn how to learn. Congrats. We had a Business degree doing engineering work. She moved on to Wall Street.
