89MJComanche
You guys know how they have been having all of these guinness book of world record ideas... I was thinking.... What if we were to Organize the largest same vehicle manufacture caravan or convoy. Just think about what would happen if we could put a few hundred Jeep vehicles all in a line a drive 25 miles or something... Just a thought
Rokhound
jeeps you mean MJ right
Pete M
That might be hard. I've seen some wicked long parades of corvettes and VW bugs.
JeepcoMJ
if it was just "JEEPS" in general we could do it...but it would have to be that broad. we couldn't accomplish it with comanches, there aren't enough of us with them out there, and even fewer of us have the $$$ to make a trip to one area to do it. Confedneck
should fill alligator alley southbound with jeeps, put your commanches on trailers and tow em with your XJ or vice versa
tkgibbs27
it's a good idea. but like a few guys have said there aren't enough of us who have comanches or the money to travel cross country to meet up. but it's good idea to maybe make a plan to do one of these days. GirsMJ86
I would defantly think it would just have to be "Jeeps" in general. There are not enough MJs left in the states, and of the one that are we only have a limited amount on the club.... Plus those of us with 2.8s might not make the trip. Alex
tkgibbs27
it would depend on when it was. i won't have a 2.8 much longer so i would definitely be down.
jage
What are you talking about? I took my 2.8 from Indianapolis to North Padre Island in Texas and back. Well sure it was all flat and by the time we got back to Indiana it was spitting and dying a nasty death, but it made it and that's how I got my 3.4L... :D
beaterjeep
Meh, you have to remember that there are some of us that have more than one MJ, and even a couple with more than they know what to do with, but we won't mention any names, we know who they are. :brows:

JeepcoMJ
there was a point when I could have supplied 5 comanches. now I can supply 3 comanches and one xj, soon to be 2.5 xj's and that's not including parts rigs... of course, NOT to put anyone on the spot, but there are those who are hoarding MJ's
GirsMJ86
I like Eagle's preservation "Save the MJ" way of life. Me, I just keep getting new ones and passing the old ones on after messing around with em for a bit... even if that means going back to a 2.8L from a 91 Elim. Alex
CEThomas
I have seen Wildman's place  he is working to corner the market without letting anyone know :D
carnuck
I would have to hook all my Jeeps together in a freight train!
Tonkatruck
I know this is somewhat unrelated, but there is alot of BS to deal with with Guiness, some fees, and if you have an actual Guiness Representative its about 1500British pounds/day. I'm currently working as a group of us and hosting a Guiness Record attempt in March for the longest IndoorHockey Game. - 48 hrs. Wish us luck - raising money for Habitat of Humanity.
