Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. Though it is quite some time down the road, if the Zone guys chime in I just wanted to say it was nice chatting with you all at SEMA this year (not to mention admiring the Ultimate Adventure chopped up JK in your booth). My name is Aleks and I work for Chrysler - often out of Chelsea. I was the guy reminiscing about Mike's Deli with you :) Cheers . :MJ 1: .

    my MJ ......

The best part is that the post has been edited once (since I've read it anyways). So this is it "fixed" already. I feel more dumber. Well, jokes aside - glad you love your Comanche. Maybe post some pics to share.
  3. Hey Randy. I saw your original posting on Jeepkings and I'm still jealous on the great find. I got my 87 Shortbed, 2wd for the same price but it hasn't come as far as I've wanted yet because my daily driver quit and the Comanche took its spot. Have fun with the build. I'd love to come out to Calgary and have a peak since my girlfriend has tons of family out west. Aleks
  4. AWESOME game. Great action all the way through and I couldn't be happier that Canada won. :Canadaflag: But given how many players on each team play for each other's NHL teams, its kinda like the ultimate game of NHL pickup lol. I too thought the closing ceremonies were great. Even better than the opening imo. I couldn't stop laughing at all the beaver, 'I'm Sorry', etc jokes. Well, my whale blubbers just finishing up on the fire pit so gotta get back to my igloo. Sorry, eh.
  5. Hahaha, don't worry fellas I didnt fail geography class :smart: - just bugging ya but glad you guys caught on. Its always nice to find a Comanche that hasnt been eaten away by the elements.
  6. And thats why I envy all you southerners. I usually look down to see the colour of the asphalt.
  7. Just checked it out last week and man was it ever motivation to get mine on the road (and more specifically under the knife for a build but sadly that has to wait). Loving the flairs with the 97+ upgrade, and like others commented the chrome grill seals the package. You'll have to take me around for a test drive. Lots of hard work but the end is near..... or at least until you start phase 2, 3, etc....
  8. Welcome. I'm from Onterrible and did a few trips to Alberta last year and loved it. My girlfriend was working in Edmonton on a 4month term and she also has a bunch of family out there. Aunt and Uncle in Rocky Mountain House and we visited them too, gorgeous town.
  9. Some beautiful Comanches gentlemen. I spend my time between Windsor, ON and the greater Toronto area. My 87 2wd willbe going under the knife this weekend and I'll hopefully post some pics. First thing is a tune up, replace a rocker, small amount of body work, then doing my 4wd conversion with V8 cherokee coils up front and 2inch spacers then need to figure out the rear. Keep the pics coming.
  10. Congrats and Goodluck! Thanks for doing your duty. :Canadaflag: :Canadaflag: :Canadaflag:
  11. You're not all alone. Figuring out the details like available funds and time, but hopefully starting on an MJ project soon. I've built one of most other things (CJs, Yjs, TJs, XJs, etc) but never an MJ for myself anyways. Hope to start a build thread soon. I'm on the site often but stay quiet. Its much busier these days which is nice to see.
  12. Um.... Not sure if this is a project vehicle or what but wouldnt addressing the frame be the main issue right now? Hold off swapping the axles.
  13. I wish we'd have something rust free up here. Very nice find
