Was parked in front of my house, neighbor backed up into it. He couldn’t understand why I was upset. And then started getting mad at me because I was upset. Accidents happen, I get it. Man pay attention though.

Beyond the damage, I figure it should be evident to your neighbor you're an enthusiast.  Some people just don't get it.

 

I'm sure if you damaged their passion, they'd have an understanding.

It should be, unfortunately it wasn’t evident to him. I tried explaining to him how hard it is to find good rust free bumpers and it went in one ear and out the other. And then to top it off you start to get mad at me. Whatever happened to excepting blame?

it got the corner of the bed pretty decent. I have another bed, still not the point obviously. The bed was in good enough shape that I could’ve sold it or kept it for another project, now it’s more work if I want to fix it. Sad part is I never wreck any of my stuff it’s always somebody else that does It has nothing to do with me. It’s always somebody else doing the damage. And I cut his yard and seven other yards on my street for free, and this is how I get repaid.

I don’t know if he has two pennies to rub together. I don’t think he realizes how much it’s gonna cost to do it correctly. I’ve been able to straighten out some bumpers in the past , but why should I help him out After the way he treated me? 
 

Probably gonna tell him to either find me a bumper or give me $800. But I doubt that’s gonna get me anywhere

Sad as it sounds, I’d rather have the tail light broken. But yes it came unscathed.

Definitely not 100% by any means. This will get me through to next year , I have a bed I got off of Pete last year that  I’m going to put on Next summer and I’ll fix the bumper better next year when I have it off

Thank you , it was a dent/ rust free bumper . Now it’s a rust free semi straight bumper

If he wanted to k ow why you were mad have him experience the fustration of trying to source parts that don't exsist. Its not like he backed into a kia.

I agree, tried explaining to him that you can’t find these parts.
 

I have spares, but it’s still not the point. I know people want me to sell some stuff, but that’s why I won’t. It’s never the front end it gets damaged it’s always stuff but you can’t find easily

and that is precisely why my trailer has a crappy bed, crappy tailgate, crappy lights and my worst bumper.  I'm not going to lose a pile of good parts because someone can't stop staring at their phone.     maybe someday when I can take an MJ to a car show I'll pimp it out, but not for a drive into town for lumber.
