It has been a long time since I posted on this thread, some pretty major upgrades to the MJ have been added, such as the Leather steering wheel I picked up in Kenosha, along with a 21 slot grill I also picked up at the Kenosha swap meet, also new are some 31 mud terrains thar really help even with 2wd.

Just remembered I never posted the hidden train horn install, I did my Ho cooling system swap at the same time, and used the bracket for the bottle to mount my compressor and air tank EEC0DBD8-543A-400D-8FA8-093D5FDDF23F.jpeg.92ab4c8568e38d04b157e22b73837e96.jpeg710E5199-E9DF-4313-A308-E4C6529A8D68.jpeg.2ac32d63672ab8f51bf8b4d45c6975d4.jpeg

The actual horn is mounted in the front crossmember, and I wired it into the interior. It runs off of a 3 position XJ rear washer switch, the top position locks in and charges the tank, and the momentary switch opens the valve and lets the horn go. 1DDB6E79-279B-4F90-AE21-3DC9A106B425.jpeg.97597cc7cf379f9c9e6a5ac8c651395e.jpeg

that side mount toolbox looks good there - do you have to drill holes in the truck to mount it?

I did not, it mounts to the lip with little threaded hooks that hold onto the bed rail, and I have a peice of angle iron that rests on the bed, and if your running it without a bedliner you need a 4th support by the wheel well. I’ll post some pictures of it later

That’s awesome!  I’ll have to try.

It doesn’t take up a ton of room, I can fit almost any garden tractor in the bed still, even my one with 33 boggers on it. It really doesn’t take up any of the usable space image.jpg.794342a1bbb23673141480d91ad85636.jpgF1B69960-AB83-4EBA-9040-5F3058A5E2BD.jpeg.b3cfafcd3a5d3664569cf9ada5700709.jpeg8A84DFE8-F5EE-4D05-AC84-1E981DA3F5AC.jpeg.bd659d457815eace5b55fa2c7db8faf0.jpeg60FA0D68-6781-4174-824E-A50533629934.jpeg.45247457ce3b36ae91a0e7ae6b92014d.jpeg4E80BCA3-F74D-4889-8422-7D322FAF984B.jpeg.a108596ddbb8f155e3411e498aa6de5c.jpeg393A4880-080B-4A05-A4D2-0511B23E92F3.jpeg.d9bff8856142630f33b61eb6335beb49.jpeg

If you want to make your MJ really stand out, find the small Jeep letters found on the waggys and put it off set on the drivers side of your header panel like the 84-85 headers.

That’s really interesting

I had never heard or seen that before, it’s certainly interesting but personally I prefer it in the middle, it just looks like something is missing
