Maybe on some more challenging off road stuff it would present problems. A little sluggish at the start of second but then its like it hits a powerband (like with dirtbikes) and gets on up. ghetdjc320
It's nice having all the pictures for reference. Due to a lack of "complete" lift kits for the MJ in the 1.5-4.5" range, it would be very good to know how each lift was accomplished as there are many different components being used. The GS springs, add a leaf, shackles etc. all are different methods yielding different results. Any chance we could post up the lift amounts based on factory measuring techniques so we could get an idea what the actual lift amounts would be on our trucks? There are so many different factory ride heights it seems so it would be great to get some solid basis for comparison.
jeepmjga
4.5" Rubicon Express SuperFlex XJ front lift, spring under rear with 4" Alcan leaf springs and a .5" RE lift shackle, 32x11.50x15 on 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing.
KBRAY88MJ
Rusty’s 4” leafs with quadratec shackles and Bilstein 33-185576 shocks in the rear. Rubicon express 4.5” coils with 1.75” spacers and Bilstein 24-185943 shocks in the front. Rubicon Express adjustable uppers and fixed lowers. RE adjustable trackbar. Lift measures 5.12” in the front and 5.30” in the rear. Although the rear still looks much higher than the front. Probably going to add bigger spacers in the front to level it out. Measurements for lift size were found in another thread from this forum. Top of axle tube to bottom of unibody/frame. Currently on 245/75/16. Which is around a 30” tire. Going to get some 33”x10.5 in the near future on some stock steel wheels.
JWheeler331
Thought I’d add a couple photos from my first off reading experience with my Comanche. The Rocky Road Outfitters lift was nice and rides really good on the road and off. Didn’t do anything crazy. Just some mild stuff to test it out. It's far from being there yet, but it's somewhat the end goal hahaha!!! Back to the topic; to all the people who posted pictures, which rear lifted rear leafs brand seems to keep the wheels the most centered in the wheel arches?
