Pete, I am not sure what you mean shift the cab permanently. I have looked through the list several times but I guess I am missing it. -

Requires the blinkers this past weekend. Got new blinker lights in and the NOS side marker lights. Taillights are finished and ready to be installed. Also a photo next to my daily driver JKU. -

Thought I’d add a couple photos from my first off reading experience with my Comanche. The Rocky Road Outfitters lift was nice and rides really good on the road and off. Didn’t do anything crazy. Just some mild stuff to test it out. -

Just want to update and say that I ordered the front and rear vacuum harness as Cruiser54 showed above as well as the rear vent and that appears to have fixed my problem. while I was at it I changed the oil, oil filter and air filter as well as cleaned up all the oil from the leak. I drove the truck all weekend no signs of leaking anymore. Thanks -

I had spring spacers. The front would rub at full turn slightly but just normal use was fine. -

The lift is 6 inches and right now I am currently running 31x10.5r15 tires. The plan is to move to 33'' tires but I have not yet decided if I want to run 33x10.5 or 33x12.5. -

Also, Saturday I took the Comanche off roading for the first time since I have had it. Nothing crazy. Just a mild dirt pit on some family land to just flex it some and drive it around and get used to it. Wanted to put some miles on it so that I could find out if the oil/air box thing was fixed. It appears that it may be fixed or at the very least manageable for now. I have not done as much work as many of you but I have been doing a lot of work and it is good to finally get to enjoy the truck while I continue to work on it. -

I saw the Valve Cover Mod and will def. be doing that in the near future. For now though I changed all of the front and rear vacuum/CCV hoses along with the rear vent tube on the back of the valve cover. Drove it a bunch yesterday and so far that seems to have fixed the problem. It was throwing me off because the previous owner stuck a PCV valve or something in the front of the valve cover. It has now been corrected to the correct stuff. Also, changed the oil and oil filter. -

At the moment yes. Its not too bad for driving around. Maybe on some more challenging off road stuff it would present problems. A little sluggish at the start of second but then its like it hits a powerband (like with dirtbikes) and gets on up. -

CCV Valve Replacement

There was a part number on plastic elbow that was in my valve cover front. There is a larger hole in the bottom of it. When I went to auto zone they looked it up by number and gave me what I thought was the same one. Once I got it home I pulled the old one out The new one had a ring all the way around that would not let it even fit in the valve cover without the grommet. It darn sure wouldn’t fit with it. The new one also has a much smaller hole. Today though I ordered all the parts above so when they get in hopefully I’ll be back in business. here is a couple photos to show the one I took out and the one that I got from Auto Zone. Notice the difference in hole size on the bottom. I folded down the ring so it would fit but still don’t fit with the grommet so that’s why I ordered the above parts.
