  1. I got the front bumper back on but unfortunately I’m gonna have to back up a punt. When I wrecked I bent the front of the unibody a little bit more than I thought so it’s not lining up like expected. Hopefully I can figure out how to get it straightened out more so I can have the bumper alignment right.
  2. I think I’ve picked the paint I’m gonna go with on the truck. Jeep’s Impact Orange! I am hopefully gonna be ready for paint soon I gotta put the 01 Cherokee doors on, and get some panel gaps straightened out.
  3. Do yall know if I would have to change out the transfer case as well? surely I could run the Comanche one still.
  4. I’ve acquired a 2001 Cherokee for deal with 160k miles on the engine. the only problem is it was a 2wd I was wondering if I do the 01 swap and change over to the OB2 am I able to keep the factory auto trans and transfer case in my 88 Comanche? thank you
  5. Got the truck home and pulled the front bumper and winch off. Also my dad started fixing the bed rear quarters, I’d say he did a pretty decent job.
  6. Haven’t posted in a while, and what a wild while it’s been. Rear brakes went out need a full rebuild. Bought a 2001 Cherokee to do an 97-01 swap. rebuilt the front end on the truck with donor parts from the Cherokee. slid the Comanche off the road after a small rain and did a number on the truck.
  7. They will I’m gonna do charcoal and grey decal’s instead of the red and burgundy.
  8. Finally got the truck back and have the bumpers & winch installed! Went with Dirtbound DIY front and rear bumpers and a Warn EVO 10k
  9. What all do you need to do that swap? I’m assuming the header, headlight bezels, turn signals, & grill.

  11. I’m sure it’s been asked multiple times on here, but can you do the 97+ swap on the Comanche’s without changing out the fenders?
  12. Update from the Bodyshop today! I’m ready to get it back. it’s going to be painted white again that’s just primer.

  18. I’ve Raptor lined the inside of the bed need to do the tailgate and the bed rails. Added a softtopper camper shell. Currently it’s at the body shop getting the dents repaired from the previous owner. Once I get it back I’ve bought DirtBound front and rear bumpers welding them up installing them. Then I’m having it repainted back to white.

  20. I’m about to have a lot of body work & paint done to my Comanche. I’m thinking about changing out the factory tow mirrors for breakaways. I’ve found the new mirror but I’m looking if there is a PN for the inside portion of the break away mirrors the trim piece that holds the adjustment control. any info helps thank you!
  21. I’m about to have to change out the Radiator Fan Sensor in a closed system. Is there anything I need to be aware of once I remove the old sensor? Is it gonna leak out a lot of fluid? Is there a certain way to approach this or am I over thinking it? Sorry just new to Closed Systems.
