Found these on Ebay and bought him out because I thought they were too cool.

 

Renix/late AMC plastic keys but they have a Chrysler sticker..

credit card keys in case you got locked out, came with high end Chryslers ,they came coded, worked OK but pretty much one shot,don't know how you would cut them on card


I always heard you were supposed to be able to slam them in and get one use out of them.

But I honestly have no idea.

I now have eight of these because the guy wanted rid of them.

I remember them. I think they're called wallet keys (like a credit card). Had a 1985 CJ7 at the time and was at a SAE convention (1987 or 88) in downtown Detroit where some company was making (cutting) them for the attendees. Doubt if I could ever find it, but now you got me looking.

I'd consider letting some go.
I also just looked at this factory book from an 89' Cherokee that has a spot for it.
