I originally had it in the "back away from the welder" thread but I think this contraption deserves its own thread.

Just in time for family gathering and cool weather. A mobile hot tub mount on a jeep Cherokee. No need for expensive wires and high power bills. This runs off a 110 extension cord and usually takes 15-20$ worth of gas a night. Or day if you're strange. Usually takes 2-3 hours to preheat water and then you can turn the jeep heater engine off from the tub with a flip of a light switch. Yes it is safe no worries. Suspension is welded solid so none of that weird squatting stuff kid are doing these days. Hot tub jeep is ready to be used at any time. I upgraded to a little nicer unit.

:sad2: how much is he asking for it if it hasn’t sold already

$1000. $1001 more than it is worth.

This would be awesome to have.  A hot tub that can go anywhere, in the garage, tailgating, camping, to a friend's house.  The possibilities are endless.

Probably be a good idea to unweld the rear suspension for travel and instead install supports under it when filled up.

I find it interesting that he used an XJ instead of a pickup truck.  but I get the feeling that it was made out of what was on hand at the time.

I have no words, but what in the meth, Natty Lite drinkin', unfiltered Camel smoking, sister-cousin <<fornicating>>, Ricky Bobby hell is that?

Props for resourcefulness and using what you have on hand, but......wow.

wonder if they flushed the block first

With all of the 4-tooth engineering on this, I doubt it.
