Jeep Driver Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I've watched many of these test vids, never before have they installed a weight distributing hitch. Brake controller? Super fail. Tach? Pegged. Trans? Not so much. The best they can muster, huh?
Pete M Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 If I was to buy one, a Hemi swap would happen. (because if I could afford one in the first place, I clearly have enough cash lying around to do that. ) also, manual trailer cranks suck.
Pete M Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 wait, the Eisenhower tunnel? I did that route in the MJ way back when on the way to Moab. If I remember right, I was doing maybe 35 mph at the crest of the mountain so they beat me. but then, having an engine that spews its guts out the valve cover at anything above 3500rpm doesn't help.
DirtyComanche Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I'm not watching 20 minutes of boring crap to figure out what went on. Does the Gladiator not come with a factory brake controller?

87Warrior Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 I am not surprised with the outcome. After all, it has a Wrangler drivetrain. Hopefully things will get interesting when the diesel is released. +70dB is super disappointing for cab noise with a stock truck.
Gat'79 Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 The minute the guy said, "We are on the top of the world" I knew it was BS... Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
Pete M Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 It appears someone found the cure for the 3.6L... a hellcat. That didn't take long at all.
