What a terrible time living on a mountain in a new town. So, my mission today was to take out the Carburetor and walk 4.5 miles into town. I woke up and there happen to be a mecánico working across the street. (What are the chances) I beat the carburetor on top.l of the float and it moved the obstruction. I let it run and talked the mecánico who called someone who gave another number who said, "take it out and I get to it maybe Saturday for delivery on maybe Tuesday". I don't have another vehicle to drop it off plus I fly to San Diego Tuesday. I drove the truck to the first guy in another mountain, who I explained the problem to and he called his brother, on another mountain, who said bring it tomorrow morning at 7am and I will fix it right away. This will be the 2nd carburetor build I will watch and hopefully the last, fore I will. learn how to do it. And to think, living in Colombia, if you call a mecánico in the AM he will arrive to your farm in the afternoon and fix the problem if you can't. All for a house call fee of 6 dollars. Thanks everyone for you input. This Comanche is really an awesome truck and rare, but it is taking my pocket for a ride. Thank the universe I can do most everything myself with my limited knowledge because I cannot afford the top of the line parts nor mecánicos. Again, thank you. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
