My T-Bird did. One of the few thoughtful things on that car.

And before someone says it, the thing about the graphic of the gas pump on the gauge saying what side the filler is on is BS.

It's been accurate on every vehicle I have checked.

Here's my MJ, filler is on the left:

My Ford, filler on the right. Gas pump graphic is the same as the MJ.

I never noticed which way the little pump sign points.  Always thought it was just a graphic way of showing the word "fuel".

Now on the Ford picture above, I see an arrow pointing to the right side next to the word "fuel".  That arrow may indicate what side the fuel goes in.  But except for this conversation, I would never have paid any attention to it.

Yes, the little graphic of the gas pump doesn't mean anything, but if there's an arrow, it's meant to point at the fuel filler. The fuel filler is on the right on my Thunderbird as the arrow indicates.

Having the gas door on the passenger side is the most dumbest thing ever. It's so inconvenient to park, and walk all the way around the vehicle to fill the gas. It should always be on the drivers side on every single vehicle.

How about having to open the hood to fill up? My '66 VW...

Uh that's cuz Gas stations used to be full serve so they didn't care about your convenience, if they still do it today then they are idiot designers for sure...

My friends 03 Sonoma has the arrow pointing the wrong way...

HaHa, the gas tank on my 67 CJ5 is under the driver seat.  I don't know what engineer thought that was a good idea, but having the fuel fill almost where your left hand naturally rests means I don't even have to get out of the Jeep to fill up.  That getting out of the car stuff is for the birds!

Sometime in the mid to late 90s I believe this became required (along with 3rd brake lights....I bet your granada doesn't have one of those either).  Every new car sold in the US has either an arrow or an indicator of some sort identifying for the poor young drivers of today where the "gas thingy" goes, along with a warning that it will give them cancer in Kommiefornia (ok, that last part I made up but it sure sounds good).

Considering my '92 MJ is my newest vehicle of 8 other than my motorcycle and Mazdaspeed 3 (which is for sale)......I just have to remember. And yes, I too have pull up to the wrong side and stretched the hose over the trunk.  $HlT happens....

You're right, it doesn't. It doesn't have a lot of things. Like power, or a clock or even a passanger side mirror but worst of all.... no cup holders.
