jimoshel
Fella called me up the other night. Asked, "Are you the Jeep guy South of town? Assured him I was. He had a Jeep pick up he was trying to sell. Wondered if I was interested. We talked. It was a 1990 MJ. Belonged to his dad. His folks split and she got the truck. She doesn't want it. The kid doesn't want it. Asking $1200. Went in to look at it. Tried for half an hour to start it. Wouldn't start and finally killed the battery. Kid swore it was running when he parked it 2 weeks ago. I believed him. Offered him $400. Took me 10 minutes to convince that's all a non running P/U was worth. Got it for $450. Got it home. Put 2 gallons of gas in it. Started it and drove it down the road a piece and back. Ran great. Headliner missing. Lower radiator hose leaks. Needs washed. Radio, Tape works. Comanche County
That's a straight looking truck. $518 for the cassette player is a little steep.

DirtyComanche
That's not even 'You suck' territory. That's more in the range of 'I hate you'. $450! I wish I could find one for that sort of price... And that I had a shop.

jimoshel
Nothing wrong with the lower hose. It just didn't have a clamp on it. Put a clamp on it, it quit leaking. Get my new headliner from Steve and wash it. Have me a new DD. Anybody else catch the '@$$' next to the price in the last pic? Just noticed it. Exgrayxj
Sold new in Pueblo. Dealer installed a/c. Why can't something like this find me? BOO HOO, I'm going out to the garden and eat fuzzy worms ... Nice, Jim!
gogmorgo
I wonder what the @$$ feature is... You'd think Jeep would expect it to be reliable enough not to need to include a donkey to pull it home... Or maybe it's cause it is in fact as hard working as a donkey? terrawombat
If people are calling him to sell a vehicle, then they're desperate to get rid of it. Jim's got the upper hand before he even sees the truck. Your name is Jim, isn't it? Pretty sure Sir Sam's name is not Sam...so just making sure ;)
