Comanche Spottings

EDIT: Decided to use this as a posting for whomever may come across another MJ out there in the vast world. It might help to keep note of such things, as it's another way to see how many are on the road still.  :wrench:

--------------

Saw a metallic grey, LWB Pioneer at the Suntrust bank / 441 crossing in Eustis (next to Publix and the Mobil station) with a matching grey topper on the back. If you're on here, you have one nice looking rig  At least, the passenger side anyways.

Was gonna see if I could catch up to you, but an F150 and 2 Dakota's cut me off from getting in the turn lane. It's a conspiracy I tell 'ya! :fs1:

And with this, AFAIK, there are only myself, and ExGrayXJ (NOT Whowey, my apologies; don't know how I goofed that one up. :dunno:  )that are around this immediate area with Comanches. :( The other 3 I've seen (Grey Pioneer, 86 Maroon X, and 86 Toxic Orange XLS) were just passing through I guess.

I live in Frederick County MD. I know of two other MJs near me and have seen on the road a third.

First, Yeagertown Rd. A black MJ. Are you out there?

Second, Woodville Rd, Unionville. A maroon Pioneer. It is parked in the driveway. Don't know if it moves.

I saw a gray MJ turning into Spring Ridge. We waved at each other. If you are out there, Hi, again.

Never really kept track, but I see a few around here at times.

There is a local here that I talked to awhile ago that had a pretty nice short bed. I told him about the club and he seemed interested, but I'm not sure if he joined.

Always see a brown LWB driving around, seems to be a work truck.

The other day a black SWB caught my eye when i was driving around, looked JUST like mine when it was stock. Come to find out the kid goes to my HS and just got his license. Next year I'm going to have fun parking next to, and towering over his.

To the best of my knowledge there are only 2 around Lusby, MD. I saw a stock white one driving on the road, and another about thirty minutes north in Dunkirk, MD that used to park at the Wawa. I always see them for sale, but never on the road... Kind of disheartening.

Am sitting next to a Gray Renix LWB. Pretty surprised when I came outside for my lunch break. Will post some pictures when I get off work. :brows:

Pretty sure I've seen this one within the last few months. Didnt think anyone drove it, as it was sitting in the yard of a nice house with 2 other cars.

Wasn't the one I was thinking of. Met the kid in the last 15 minutes of my lunch hour. Turns out he met up with some friends and left it there to go offroading with them (2WD '87 4.0 I found out; with the $#!&ty Puke-Goat)

Told me his grandpa's DD truck. He said he came up there about 20 minutes after I started working and ogled my truck with his other buddy and his GF. Told him it took a lot of work to make it look as good as it does now; gave him a card with the skinny on CC. I was surprised when he said he had to drive back to Lady Lake and get home. Don't know why he'd be out this far, but whatever. It was cool.

I spotted 2 MJs today in a span of about 2 min. And then I pulled into the driveway and saw a third  The first was a long bed with a shell, some lady was loading something into it, they both looked good. And the second made the turn with me on the road right after I saw the first, it looked to be a shortbed, couldn't tell what else on either of them. Both were red. Clearly it has been a good day for me; got to see 2 comanches on the road, and drove mine through the woods with my dad and his ranger after dinner.

Saw a maroon one on 1st Avenue N in Birmingham, AL about two weeks ago. Guy was making a turn off the street in front of our office and drove away before I could flag him down. Truck looked like a daily driver, in good shape. Body looked straight with good paint.
