Hi, I tried to pm about your parts truck but it wouldn't go thru.

I'm not sure what's up with my PM box. I haven't been on this site for awhile. I will try to send you a PM.

John Q, still have that cat?

It was just a picture I found on the Internet that I thought was funny.

Those switches are sweet! Sorry if someones already asked, but where can I get those cab lights?

I can't recall were I bought the switches from. I will have to see if I can find the paperwork. The cab lights are for a volkswagen I got them from ebay a few years ago. One of them cracked, so I just ordered these from ebay.

I've been showing my Comanche a little love lately.  So far I have ordered the following for my 2013 update:

  1-  33" Nitto Mud Grapplers

  2-  T&T Long arm kit

  3-  T&T U-bolt eliminator kit for SOA

  4-  T&T Dana 44 axle truss

  5-  JKS ACOS

  6-  JKS rear shackles

7-  Rubicon Express 4.5" front springs

8-  Rubicon Express track bar bracket

9-  Rubicon Express track bar brace RE1670

10-  Currie Currectlync steering

11-  Napier Precision Products fender flares

12-  Rear bumper undecided at this time.  JCR or Hanson?

I already have a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks and a Rubicon Express track bar.  I have also been trying to source a decent 97-01 XJ to rob some parts from. I will be replacing the front clip I have with OEM parts and finishing my A/C install.

I can't wait to start working on her!  :wrench:

was wondeing what kind of offest you had on those wheels with the 35's when you put em on the truck, I'm looking to get the same stance and just firgured id ask before i go spending the money on new wheels

I had those wheels on my Rubicon. I sold it back in 2008. All I remember is that they were 16x10" wheels. Sorry, but I don't remember what the back spacing was. The Tires were 315/75/16 Goodyear MTR's.

I know its been a while John, but I came back across this thread while in search

of my first comanche Gracie. Sapphire was my 5th or 6th comanche and for

whatever its worth I am so glad you got hold of her. Looking at all this pics its

obvious to me now she would have died a slow, rusty death waiting on me to fix

all those issues. I hope you're still happy with her, and I'll still keep checking in

from time to time to see if anything new is going on.

Carry on my friend!

Hi Bonkers.  Very happy with her, with no plans of selling her ever!  Keep checking in, I will be adding the new lift and hopefully some paint and body work soon.

any recent pics? New tires? what happen to the arb bumper ?

I have been in and out of Africa the past year.  I put the tires on but not anything else yet.  I will be home at the end of August and I will be sourcing somewhere to help me put the long arm kit on.  I am also looking for someone to get the paint and body work finally done.   I changed my mind about the ARB bumper a few years ago and sold it.

Latest pics I have with the new tires on her.

I spent some of my MJ budget on my new daily driver!

Going through old posts... again, and realized I missed another gem...

Every time I read one of your post John I can't help but wonder if we were

seperated at birth...

I bought this at the end of 2012 instead of spending money on another jeep...

PS - your messages are turned off.

What is your opinion on the kit?

So far I like the TnT kit, but I don't have a lot of miles on it yet.

Got the old girl running back in December.  Have a couple projects in front of this one, but I'm thinking about swapping my 1998 XJ doors on and stripping her down to prep and paint her with Navy blue Raptor liner.  Current paint is in rough shape.  Need to put new floor pans in both of my MJs.
