87Chief Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 If I went to the junkyard and had the money to get stuff like that. That's how mine would be.
Automan2164 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 If I went to the junkyard and had the money to get stuff like that. That's how mine would be. Don't think I bought this all at once, or for a lot of money. All of this has been bought/traded for/given to me in 2 or so years. Those who know me best know that unless it's a screaming deal, I don't buy it. I'm cheap. I mean really cheap. Rob
cody4359 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 If it's for sale, it will be in the classifieds. Rob can we get this thread moved :dunno: :rotf:
Automan2164 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 can we get this thread moved :dunno: :rotf: I like your style. Just wait. This isn't even the half of it. I will update this thread as I pull junk out. Rob :D
Thunderbear Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 So thats where all the tailgates have gone. -sigh-
whowey Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Leave it in your yard... your new neighbors will alleviate your problem. And having actually been in the JY with Rob.. I know two truths. He is cheap... But he won't leave behind any usable MJ specific parts... He considers it leaving the same thing as leaving a man behind... Ohh... and Angela is VERY understanding of his issue.
Automan2164 Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Time for some more pics, in the middle of cleaning still may finish up tomorrow. Until then, I have some pics. To those who did before, and those who are just seeing this thread, none of this is for sale. Don't PM me saying you want "X" This is just for sharing of nerdness. Big box of black interior trim. Black seats, dashes, center consoles... 2 of the most perfect grey leather XJ limited seats. Black vinyl bench, black cloth bench, and 2 factory longbed bed mats and tailgate mats. Box of cargo's, the sensors and the modules for the fluid sentinel... 4.10 D30/MJD44, LWB roll bar, SWB tank skid, brushguard. Factory Meyer Jeep plow off an MJ, Metric ton springs, 2wd springs, painted flares, black flares... Few domes(not even all of them) So many tail lights that I couldn't get them all in the shot, not to mention the ones on the desk, and the couch not pictured: Gauge clusters for the Farmer... Top is the one going in, middle is the one out of the donor, bottom is the one out of it. Notice anything about the one going in? (Will get a tach and lose the column shift) Box 'o' Emblems (Again, not all of them) Factory LWB topper, aftermarket LWB ladder rack: Hidden Winch: I will most likely have more pics as I continue cleaning, eventually getting to the stuff inside the house, as well as the literature... Yep, I am a nutcase. Rob
ComancheKid45 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Its ok, we still envy you, no matter how crazy you are ;)
Rymanrph Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 How much of this stuff do you ever plan on using? The only reason I ask is because you say it isn't for sale. I get the whole collecting thing; if I see something valuable or rare at the JY, I take it too. But, when I take something, I usually plan on using it or selling to someone who needs it. I guess I just don't see the value of having all that stuff if you don't plan on using it or selling it. Especially when you have so many rare or hard to find parts that many people would pay good money for. Your stuff - your prerogative; just curious.

Thing is, I've gotten out of MJs once before... And sold off everything. Never again. The way I look at it now, if I see a part, or something I like, as long as I can afford it, I get it. I plan on having MJs for the rest of my life. I'm always going to need parts, extras, add ons, and cool options to keep things fresh. Racerbacks, roll bars, cargo lights... I may not use them now, but the important thing is, that when I do decide to put it on something, I will have the privilege of knowing I'm most likely sitting on whatever I need, or have a part that would be worth trading another MJer for what I want. It's sick really. Rob
tbrand Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Notice anything about the one going in? (Will get a tach and lose the column shift) What package did you have to order to get the 120-mph speedo?
hick92 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 :fs1: i bet theres everything to get my truck back on the road
jons87mj Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I don't get the clock with the lights on it why and what did they come in :dunno:
jimoshel Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I believe that friends should help friends. After all, that's what friends are for. Rob. I can be there tomorrow night with a truck and trailer. If you can get someone to help load would be nice but not necessary. Get some much needed room back. Yes, it will require some sacrifice and create a little hardship on my part but I won't mind. Jim :D

drcomanche Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Well, now that I know where all the parts I need are... Soooo many tail lights...
terrawombat Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Have any decent J20's taking up space? Haha. Yea, just what you need - another Jeep pickup to collect parts for.
