Saw two MJs

I very rarely see any other MJs except my neighbor's. Today I was going home for lunch and spotted a white SporTruck in the gas station parking lot so I pulled in next to it in my white '88 Pioneer. The owner was there and we talked about our trucks for a while, his is an '87 with a black interior that he purchased in '88. I gave him the CC card that I carry in my wallet, he seemed very interested since he's been having problems with his e-brake staying engaged. Perhaps a new member?

Well, I went home, had lunch, was driving back to work and in front of the same gas station I passed another MJ. This one was a long bed Pioneer, that Black Cherry color.

I've never seen two MJs in one day before, let alone within 45 minutes.

At 4 pm today I drove the 89 to Autozone to pick a fan belt, power steering pulley, and the puller tool. As I walked out there was a very nice Comanche parked right in front. I walked back in and shouted " Who owns the Comanche?" A young couple at the register said they do so I said I also own one and if it's OK I'll wait for them by their truck. We talked for about 20 minutes . It was a 87 4x4 4.0 5spd LWB Metric Ton. ( AZ plates) Sorry I had no camera or phone with me. I mentioned CC about 15 times and told them they would love the forum. They both seemed eager to check it out. I was going to make my own Post but after reading this one I thought it was pretty cool we are seeing more Comanches. comanche.gif

Wisconsin must be the heaviest populated MJ area, before I worked just over the border I saw possibly 2 mj's in 6 months, now I see a couple a week. A few are the same ones in the area all the time, but I seem to see unfamiliar mj's quite often.

Just from being on here it seems alot of guys are from that area.

I saw three on my way home from Oregon yesterday. A red one with a utility rack, a black one with slate blue pinstripes, and slate blue jeep logo on the gate, and a white pioneer. I was going in the opposite direction, in my celica, so I didn't have cards or anything... but they are definitely still out there...

Mike,

I hope you played the Lotto for Saturday seeing two MJ's in one day around these parts might even be considered an omen!

Hi Joe,

It was at the same gas station where we met up that day, he was even in the same parking spot you were in. :clapping:

What's this "salt" you're talking about??? ;)

You use it to make food eatable. We use it to make roads driveable . 'Course, you know that. What baffles me, though, is in central Oregon where they get lotsa snow, they use cinders and no salt. The roads do fine, and old cars rust free are everywhere. Yea, it would cost to ship it in, but when you see how the chemical they use around here eats even concrete and steel, which requires a lot of road work, I would think it would be more cost effective to get cinders.
