87Warrior
Obviously, as a Jeeper it is impossible to own only one Jeep. Plus, I have seen many threads here at Comanche Club where we often times reference our 'other' Jeep. So why don't you post your 'other' Jeep so we can better understand where you are coming from. Here, I will start: 2003 TJ Rubicon I bought this Jeep in December of 2003 at a salvage auction. Had 12K miles on it and still had the new car smell. It also had 2 rods through the oil pan and 4 rods with beautiful arcs in them. Rebuilt the 4.0 (should have stroked it :fs1: ) and the rest is history. It was claimed to have had 'flood damage'....my guess is the new rubi owner couldn't bear the thought that he ruined his $35,000 toy :rotf: It now has 98K miles on the chassis. The Mod list: - RE 3.5" springs and Front trackbar - JKS Control Arms, Rear trackbar, Quicker Disconnects, and Brake lines - OME Long Travel Shocks with Terraflex shock relocators - 1" PA BL - Cooper STT's (315/75R16) tires on stock Moabs with 1.25" Spidertrax Wheel spacers - 5.13's - V8 ZJ tie-rod upgrade - Jeep Medic Tummy Tuck and Engine Skid - Superwinch EPi9.0 Winch on a Rokmen Winchplate - Rokmen differential covers - Rockhard 4x4 Sport Cage - Viking Fastback Soft top - Dual Filter Cowl Intake (aka Macs CAI) - Olympic Rocks Bumpers - AtoZ Sliders - Bestop spare tire carrier with Hi-Lift attachment - Kilby Steering Box skid - Uniden Pro CB with a 3' Firestick - IPF H4 headlights - Tom Woods CV DS - Rugged Ridge 7" Flares - 6000K HID long range accessory lights (now on windshield brackets) - RB1 Factory navigation radio with Ipod Adapter and Bazooka sub in the factory enclosure - Viar OBA with 2.5gal tank and in-cab relay trigger and gauge Waiting to be installed: - Vanco 16" Big Brake Kit - Rokmen gas tank skid The Rubi and MJ fill my Jeep stable. However, my fiancée is looking at Grand Cherokees and Patriots now...
SuperWade2
Another TJ...I'd be lying if the I'd didn't say that my MJ is actually the "OTHER" Jeep and the TJ gets the majority of my "affection" and by "affection", I mean $$$. 87Warrior
You have a very nice TJ Wade! Have you ever had any cooling issues with the EPi9.0? Mine likes to run HOT when going down the highway at 75mph in 100 degree heat since I installed the EPi. New pump, coolant, and t-stat... Maybe time to pick up a Griffin or the like :ack:

Maybe time to pick up a Griffin or the like :ack: Thanks Bud, like your Rubi also...lots of similar mods. Not a bit of heat problems (we don't get much 100 degree heat though)... Last fall I replaced the Thermo and flushed and kept right at ~200 all the time, I blew my 11 Year Old OEM Radiator (the upper seal where the metal meets the plastic) in February wheeling in the snow (go figure). I replaced with a cheapy Chinese Single Core all Aluminum... it's not a long term solution, but was cheaper than an OEM replacement and I didn't have the $$$ for a "good" one. So far it's been fine, and I still keep right at 200ish.

MrFreeze5
I have 3 jeeps at home right now. Ive had my ZJ for years and it was a great truck until the transmission cracked, but luckily I had been gather parts for years to rebuild it properly. Right now, it is a stripped unibody, but I am hoping to have the new axles in and the V8 swap completed by the end of the month. My ZJ picture album My ZJ is a 96 4.0 Laredo that is being converted to a 5.2 V8 with a Limited interior overhaul(auto climate control, heated power leather 5.9 ZJ seats, rewiring everything Ive ever wired in the interior in the time Ive had it. The engine is freshly rebuilt and nicely modded. Claytons longarms; a waggy 44 front axle with F250 8 lug outers; and a Spider 9 rear axle thats full float, 8 lug, and disc brake. Its getting built properly and should be a very reliable truck. My Comanche was bought in April with the sole purpose of driving around while I built my ZJ, and to haul parts for it, and for my other builds, but once the ZJ is done, all the nice parts that came off of it can go on the MJ. I definitely plan on using the 96 4.0 block to make a stroker. I also just pulled the HP 30 I had just rebuilt maybe 10 miles before my tranny went out. So it will be contributing to the MJs 4wd conversion as well as offering up country springs and a pair of coil spacers. Not to mention I now have 4 sets of steering linkages, 6 unit bearings, several axle shafts, etc, so one of my trucks has to keep the dana 30 :D but that means the MJ gets the 8.8 I had laying around too, but thats for another thread :D My other Jeep project is my 58 Willys Wagon. I have big plans for this one, but for now, I have to finish the ZJ first. I picked this one up in February just before my ZJ started acting up. It came with an AMC 304 V8, but I pulled it out and will be putting in a 5.9 Magnum engine with a carb manifold.

kro10000
It ain't mine, it's my brother's... But it's the jeep that got me into jeeping. What was my stepdad's DD brand new in 97, became my moms DD, which was passed down to my older brother, which has now turned into his toy. Was a 4.7 stroker, now in the process of installing the 4.8, AX-15 terminator trans, D30, NP231, advance adapters SYE, Tom woods DS, exploder 8.8 with disks 4.10s, and factory LS. terrawombat
My MJ's are my project Jeeps and are either always under the knife or are being used for farm work duty. I own an '01 XJ Sport that some guy was going to send to the junkyard for scrap value because it had a spun rod bearing. I offered him a little over scrap value and "upgraded" the engine with a pre-0331 cylinder head casting motor from a JY. It has been my reliable DD for the past year. I also picked up a '91 YJ w/4.0L and an AX-15. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with it. The only 'mods' it has are 31" tires and a new Bestop Supertop Sunrider. I think I may do a mild lift, finish the bodywork, and put it up for sale. 1998 XJ w/4.0L, AW4, NP231, and 8.25 rear. Picked it up relatively cheap because it didn't run and came with a salvage title - needed a new fuel pump and ECM. Only has 74k miles and the interior is in excellent condition. The body is in great condition with the exception of the fading black fender trim and some dings/dents near the bottom of the drivers door. Current plans are to use it as a donor for my '88 MJ SportTruck, but am having second thoughts. Currently sits in my barn looking sad.
