I figgured that we all talk about our MJ's alot. I thought that we need a thread to discuss discussions about our jeeps.

 

Today I discussed gusseting on goblazers' bumper mounts with my boss. He said that my idea was really good. :D

Talked to my buddy today about my trucks future as we were making a set of tube doors for his XJ.

Took my car to Sams Club to get the most of the free lifetime balance and rotation of my tires and go about my shopping. Walk back to get my keys and the tire guy asks if I liked my comanche. For a split second I was confused trying to figure out how this guy would know this information. Turns out that I had a comanche club card sitting in my passenger seat since I just got the stuff in the mail :thumbsup: . Long story short I may be picking up a new comanche in the near future :cheers:

A few minutes ago I was talking to a guy in Arizona who is going to build a Jeepspeed XJ. I started telling him about all the junk I've got on LastMJ. The guy was in awe. His dad had a bunch of comanches when he was younger. I guess his dad had a 4cyl that he raced in some sort of street type bracket racing. He didn't know much about it though. All he remembered was his dad getting that little 4 banger to scream!

Talked to my dad on the phone about 10min ago. He's is in desperate need of a new car and had found a good looking 2001 XJ 2.5turbodiesel for cheap and wantet my "expert" opinion. Off course I was more than happy to take a good'ole jeep-talk with the old man "real 4wheel drive, check for rust here and there, easy to work on, 75% of the MJ parts in the barn would probably fit, engine MUST get routine maintendance or it WILL fail, .." I think my Jeep passion has infected him a little too, its only a few months ago since he missed out a killer deal on a 92 MJ 4.0 5speed and I can't remember seeing him so sad before. I hope he get to buy this one, because I think a XJ would fit there needs better. (and mine too, would make a good tow rig for my manches and its only 2 seat so i can sleep in the cargo area :brows: )

sigh. No one I see wants to hear about my trucks. Except maybe my immediate family. Or the cops. And usually they all just want to know when the trucks will be running again and that's about it. Though I do get a kick out of telling people I own 5 trucks. :D Some of the looks of confusion I get are priceless. :clapping:

actually, what's pretty funny is your constant lack of ability to interpret the fact that I don't actively go make fun of other member's threads, because I'm actually NOT a jackass and some others here are.

 

I'm here cause I like the trucks. we share that common fact. so, while he may not like my thread, and I may not like his, at least I'm not gonna go ahead and be a fool about it.
