  1. They are metric but, I don't remember off hand what size.
  2. Hey! Are you sure that's not my truck??? Except the stripes are on backwards. I like it! Buy it or let me...
  3. "83 GS1100E. Bought one new in "83 and sold it a few years later. Finally found a nice one to replace it a couple years ago. Only has 10k miles on it. Image Not Found
  4. 3.4 out of a Camaro. Bolt in swap.
  5. I run lincoln welders so, I'm not familiar with Hobart. The Lincolns have 2 different grooves in the feed roller for different diameter wire. Are you running the right size groove for the wire diameter? That's really all that comes to mind other than different tip orifice size.
  6. I think it would be cooler if he mounted the NOS and batteries in a toolbox. Then it would look like a real truck.....
  7. Do you guys have a Six States distrubutor there? That's where I found mine.
  8. A 4.3 will NOT bolt place of a 2.8. The only engine that will interchange is a 3.4 from a Camaro/Firebird. The 2.8 has a different bell housing bolt pattern than the 4.3. You would also have to swap the transmission if you went with the 4.3.
  9. I talked to myself but, apparently I wasn't listening :dunno: :dunno:
  10. That could have been sooo ugly. Someone was watching over your trip. 8.8 looks good in there though.
  11. You're a 2 fisted drinker, eh?
  12. I think that may be sealant that squeezes out when the tubes are pressed into the center section on assembly. It looks like an O-ring 25 years after the fact.
  13. Do I even want to know a snog let alone hum it?
  14. The plug on the right side is the reverse light switch. Not familiar with one on top.
  15. Just exactly what he ^^^ said.
  16. That looks like a very well thought out and executed swap. Kudo's to the builder. But, that rollbar is so 80's... (now where's that darn mullet smiley?)
  17. If you pull that connector off the TBI, you can see the backside of the top is a plug that holds the connector to the TBI.
  18. O.K. I got a pic of the page.
  19. Nope.
  20. My camera is currently on vacation without me.
  21. Sorry. Not on my XJ.
  22. Yeah, you can only get the Readers Rigs mag at the store.
  23. I found out that my Cherokee made the Petersen's 4 Wheel and off road Spring 2009 Readers rigs mag. Kind of a surprise. We were out wheeling in southwest Idaho and a local Photog was with us. He sent a bunch of pics in and a lot of our group made the mag. Page 46!
  24. OK, give me a list of non AMC engines used in Jeeps during the AMC ownership. Well, the kaiser Jeep trucks had a Buick 350.
  25. Yeah, I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow. They are closed on the weekends so, I have to wait. And patience isn't my greatest virtue :( :( I will adjust the stops out some more. It acually looks to me like the right side tre has a slight bend in it. If it had the same bend in the other direction, I don't think it would rub. I'll see what they say. Thanks CW.
