Busy day for the MJ. Got the e-brake installed, finished refinishing all of the interior parts, and installed most of the interior! Looking great so far

And the third brake light works perfectly

Picked up the rear drive shaft form the local off road shop. $115.50 to shorten it, their sand blaster was broken so guess i will be cleaning and painting it.

Been looking a long time for an MJ-specific cab-high camper shell. Finally found one for $150. The fiberglass is in excellent condition. The back window is a bit tweaked, but I should be able to fix it. I need to get keys and struts for it. The worst part is the original owner did a pretty ghetto tint job on it - he sprayed black paint on the inside of the windows. :fs1:

Put a nice dent in the cab corner.

ahahaha I got hit right behind the cab corner in the bed by a parked truck! It slid out of an icy driveway and into my parked truck.

So my parked truck got hit by another parked truck.

I was pretty bumbed. I was trying to pull a log that was simply too big, slid in to a tree shrub thing. It needs to be painted anyways and my uncle owns a body shop so I guess it isn't that bad...

Today I decided to fix what I thought was a clogged line for the washer fluid sprayer turns out that the right one wasn't even hooked up :shake:

plastic peace the line connects to had broken off in the line; had to melt it back to get it to stay after a few failed super glue attempts. Bought a line splitter hooked it all back up and now both sides of my windshield can get clean :D

Oh yeah went to junkyard and got a ranger 3rd parking light to mod up for the 'manche

did a lot of snow bashing today, most of the residential streets had 12-24"+ of snow on the side untouched powder, and in some areas it had drifted well over 36". My MJ went through it just fine, the only time I got worried that I was going to get stuck was on a uphill with around 24" packed snow/diffs dragging/sliding sideways/along the curb, brushing up against it once...dang almost got stuck. IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN! jamminz.gif

You REALLY need to post more pictures of your truck. I love that combo, I have to say '86 was the best year of the MJ, the best options, color combos, AMC 20 rear end etc. Ok before someone chimes in on the negative side the 2.8 and trans was the weak link that can be upgraded.

Awesome truck, hope to see more pics soon.

Yesterday I put two new dents in it (were dents there already, they're just bigger now), ripped off driver side cab vent and broke an axle shaft.

Today, lost passenger mirror, truck decided to go for a swim in a river (about crapped my pants when she went over the edge), overheated it, cracked the windshield, broke the winch controller and had the winch smoking.

But as my daughter will undoubtedly agree, a great weekend nonetheless.

Thanks! I plan on sound deadening it this summer. The interior is just as mint.
