RockMJ
I should also mention that doing all the Herculiner/POR-15 made the Jeep "sound" more solid when closing the doors and the tailgate. It doesnt sound like a tin can anymore lol RockMJ

mvusse
Removed front drive shaft and driver side axle shaft from the PPE before I ran out of time. Something big time wrong either in the front axle or transfer case. But I can't tear the transfer case out and still drive it, so checking front axle first. Boots
I got all my rims painted. There the 16" Rubicon Rims Painted Black. I need to get black lug nuts still. I might paint the little silver things black, and have were it says JEEP in silver. What do you guys think? Thanks Chad
Automan2164
I think the chrome lugs and caps should stay. Rob
Boots
I've been thinking about going with chrome lugs and leaving the center things silver but painting the Jeep letters black. I need new lugs anyways since I still have the factory two piece ones that like to come apart and get stuck in the lug wrench :fs2: . I'm not sure yet... Thanks Chad i would pull off the wheel weights and repaint the rims while you still have paint. i painted my first set of rims and the weights the next time the tires where balanced it removed a chunk of paint. it looks great! i would paint the center pice like you said

mvusse
Front axle is back together. Beside a horrible wear pattern from improperly set up gears, there's nothing wrong in there. Which is bad. That means I got major problems in the transfer case.

RockMJ
Tried like hell to figure out a way to mount the MJ bucket seat brackets to the late model XJ seats. No luck so I'm scraping that idea and trying to find XJ or MJ bucket seats :fs1: RockMJ
