thats usually the way. you eat the freight. if they wanted to keep you as a customer, they could pay the freight one way. send a shipping label etc.

i guess the fact i upgraded to the newer radiator caused the pressure to go up not down. you learn something new every day. if i hadn't upgraded it would of been cheaper to fix. so what i'm learning is all the upgrades i read on the site might not be smart to do?

i did the the complete inside with second skin. it changes the harmonics but still isn't quiet enough. we'll see after the panels go back. lots of noise coming from the doors. different problem.

i tightened my radiator cap to 90 pounds as the mechanic told me, it blew the hood up into the windshield and broke it. also had to replace the hood. have it painted etc. 1100 dollars later. at least it has a shiny new paint job on the hood. now the rest of the body needs painting. maybe have to sell the truck to pay for the paint job.

The best thing to do is figure out how much it will cost to fix it then take that number and ask yourself if you could replace your truck with an equal or better truck for that. x2

don-- what gauge would you recommend with price in mind. thats o2 sensor and gauge? dave

i used german fuel line. the kind that goes in bmw or merc's. my mechanic says it holds up better than the others. so good for me.

mine sat quite a while. gave me fits until i replaced the fuel strainer in tank. its a flat one now. problem gone. strainer looked ok, but replaced it since the pump was out. the hose looked ok but replaced it also.

ha. sounds like my experiences with the truck.
