i had a dynamic balance done. the almost brand new tire on the passenger front was so bad it couldn't balance within specs. his recommendation was buy a new one, or change to the back of the truck. the vibration went away when i took it off the truck and replaced it.

mine is 2 1/2 all the way. from the flange ,the cat back is 2 1/2. but i can't trust anything that been done to the truck.

tell me if i got this correct. on a stock 1988 4.0, the exhaust from the manifold is 2 1/2 in to the cat and from the cat is 2 1/4 in. or is the cat 2 1/4 in also. thanks, dave

what are some problems that develop when the balancer is going out? cracking, breaking etc.
