  1. use hondabrite. works great doesn't harm electronics
  2. not a highjack! i am replacing my exhaust and the inside of the pipe is totallly black. everything is correct, so i'm going to try making the adjustable map sensor. its featured on two of my bookmarks. a friend of mine has good luck with his. anyway will post when i have more info. dave
  3. entertaining story. thanks
  4. on a side note: the bushing they sell ,the center is a flat piece of metal bent into a round shape. this is true of all the ones i've seen. i would like in the future to have round stock as the inter part. so if anyone knows who makes one , please post where to buy, or what to buy. fitting a round bolt into a oval hoe isn't my idea of smart.
  5. i also tried the few more air in the tires. didn't seem to make a difference. wish i got 19 mpg.
  6. re control arms, using their bushing. they recommend the 20000 ton press. and yes it took a lot on the press to get them out. not so much on installing them.
  7. thanks for the pics pete.
  8. if its like the control arm bushings it takes a 20000 ton press.
  9. I've never had issues cleaning all the connectors and filling them up with dielectric grease x2 hondabrite is safe for electricals. any motorcycle shop will have it. dave

  14. thank you, Sir. so its a gm sending unit which measures 0-90 ohms. i have the wrong autometer gauge,( 0-30 ohms ). so the hotrod pack of gauges from summit (1402), gives you the wrong gauge, although its for a gm car????? they do give you with the pack, a sending unit for the gas gauge. :dunno: thanks again dave
  15. does anyone know the resistance value of the sending unit in an 88 4.0. my tank is 13 or 18 gals. i don't know which. a short bed. ex 0-30, 0-90 ohms etc. thanks, dave
