  1. also, only do one at a time.
  2. if i may!! the modernization of our culture has taken us away from the small village, extended family concept. the respecting of the elders of the tribe, clan etc, this experience has left the different cultures with, ( the i can do it myself ), attitude. this forum provides a place to return to the extended family concept. if someone gives bad advice, believe me, someone or many, will CORRECT the mistake. if you choose to forgo our advice, then its on your head. a side note, i'm very careful who i buy from!!!! dave
  3. great off road. with everything else thats shaking its no big thing. the good part, when you step on the gas its instantaneous forward motion. on road you notice the extra vibration throughout the rev band. to me its worth the off road difference. another thing. i have noticed increased vibration in the drive shaft, but not bad, and the drive shaft is in good shape. a lexus it ain't
  4. :rotf:
  5. x2 to all of the above. if you ask a question and somebody answers it, i don't. why repeat it. i think a lot of people do the same thing. stay here!
  6. i do. more vibrations. can be annoying, but when i step on the gas, i'm gone. so the vibrations are worth it.
  7. are you a member of eco modder. looks like what they do. nice work.
  8. hahah no freaking ears
  9. if you need to go through it, check everything. don't skimp on parts or machine shop work. when it goes back together, you want it to run without problems. as with any rebuild you never know whats in there until its open. so you have a possible open ended money pit. i would have a plan B, in case of surprises. good luck! dave

my sons duplex in e nashville,tn had a big tree lean against the house,(damage), and a tree on the other side took down all the lines. nobody hurt. it could of been real ugly. mine next door is ok. 70 to 90 mph winds.
  19. great
  20. ok. in looking at the pictures of the knock sensor and the cooling sensor. according to the pictures on another freaking jeep site and other web places i make an incorrect ASSUMPTION. OH NO. so all this time i was checking the wrong sensor. my first ever mistake. the cts is located just under the exhaust manifold not down close to the pan. and its on the left side of the manifold ,whereas the knock sensor is on the right side of the manifold down by the pan. correct? tommorrow i am going to take a picture of them. dave thanks for your help what a pita. wrong train
  21. don, thanks. they all have pigtails. i'm looking for the one at the bottom of the engine block. it has two bay-a-nets (male fitting and the female end is a bosch connector. with rock auto i didn't read the search correctly. :ack: dave the only site that shows them is autopartswarehouse and it lists four at different prices. i wouldn't be so picky but the last time i ordered from them they sent the wrong part and it cost me $13+ in return shipping and one month waiting for my money.
  22. been to rock auto twice, don, nothing comes up. that was the first place i checked. ? i will check that part number other places. thats for the reply. dave
