Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. i clocked the distributor to check and see if the timing was off...turns out it wasnt...
  2. It ended up being the two wires from the injector...replaced em and it runs like a champ. and now it goes up for sale.
  3. so this thing has not been runn for a month now... it idles great but once you start drivng it it falls on it face like its not getting fuel parts ive installed= fuel pump. fuel filter. fuel pressure regulator. ECM clocked the distributor to make sure I'm gettnig good time... removed and replaced wire going to the throttle body injector which is new it has improved but not by much... when i an at a stop light it getss all chuggy like its gunna fall on its face. any ideas guys?
  4. call or text james 1616 422 3275
  5. 700 or best now...
  6. this truck is for sale now...
  7. did get around to slappin that one on yet...been busy busy busy busy.
  8. got the new bed to the shop today this is april.. 97 XJ doors, cranks but whatever. covered in primer. the comanche logo is gunna go in front though...jeep will be on it nowhere. the new bed
  9. take the nut out of there and chop it down to just below the hole so it sits lower. might also have to adjust a few other things... the hole in the door jam where the striker is located had to be grinded out a little to bring the whole assembly down...
  10. UPDATE: got new doors from a 97 xj and slapped em on. got a new box thats at a friends body shop waiting for me to sand blast, duraglas and bondo them $#!&s. also picked up a driver side fender cuz mine was showing mild rust. after all that.....PAINT, I have pics but my phone is bein queer and won't lemme send em....so ill post em eventually :hateputers:
  11. First i took the stikers nut out by removing the plastic trim behind. take that nut which is flat and rectagular and cut it down so it sits lower. Because the Xj strikers are about an inch lower than the mj. i took the striker itself to a bench grinder and made the diameter smaller than cut the head off the striker as well, fits right in now.
  12. problem solved with some bolt cutters :) turns out they are shorter and slightly thinner
  13. well it looks like they may be skinnier so i took a die grinder to it and made it thinner....no dap.
