We call it "shop glitter" Bolts are easy to source but what about the fancy washers.

The oil leak from the head gasket is getting the better of me. I started with the idea I would just change the head gasket and be done. Well I have now decided I might as well change out the seeping radiator. If I'm into it that far I might as well change the hoses and water pump too. And while the system is drained maybe a heater core. I do need to put a new heater box in to replace the cracked drafty one, guess a new blower motor is in order. Oh and since I'll have the ac open changing the box I might as well change on all the seals in the system and replace the broken line. I am missing a couple of intake bolts and have an exhaust leak that I might as well take care of with a much needed new exhaust..... So here I sit. Collecting parts. Any suggestions on where to find my needed intake bolts, more especially the washers. And I need to find the ac line from the bottom of the drier to the condenser. I am assuming (yes i know) that those parts are going to be sourced used but haven't really searched for them.

Midwest Up or down

I live in the Midwest and accept no matter how hard I try my mj will not last forever unless I pull it of the road seasonally. However I don't want to drive anything else so the mj will suffer the cost. Its already way past ever being of any interest to a collector. There are many much nicer mjs out there. I will drive her as long as I can keep her on the road. But know inevitably it will probably end one day as all things do.

As if I could ever get that lucky.... I wouldnt be so agravated if it wasnt my daily.... I am back home safe and sound trucks in the shop on stands. Shaft is out. Need to cut old bearing off. Thats where I quit and decided to start drinking about noonish. Now mostly sobering with a ride to work arranged for tommorrow. Truck needs to sit in the shop for a day and think about how its actions effect others. That'll teach her.

Just lost a wheel bearing in the d44. Sitting on the side of the road trying to find a trailer sucks. I just need to buy a tow truck. Sorry just needed to vent.
