  1. I missed sears. Something for everyone. And at one time nice quality stuff.
  2. Makes me reminisce about dailying my cj7. Took a little planning to make a trip and fit everything. Maybe its time to revive the old girl.......
  3. I missed the trailer. Thought he was refrencing the nice little bush in the square pot.
  4. Delete the headted manifold. You will thank yourself worlds over.
  5. Seems like that should be sufficient.
  6. Your welcome. I get them frequently. I spend way too much on jeep parts. Lol
  7. Drive it? Ugh, makes my back hurt just thinking about riding in my cj that long. I havent driven it in several years but from what I recall they arent exactly "road trip friendly". Would make for a really cool trip......
  8. Thought this might be appreciated here.
  9. If I had to pick something I don't like about mj's, I would say the towing capabilities are disappointing at best. That said, it is any incredibly awesome combo.
  10. Seems to be one of the commonly overlooked parts.
  11. I think we would be better to remove all restrictions and let natural selection play a role.
  12. Simple minds giving in to well researched and pitched marketing. Same reason everyone wants the latest and "greatest" phone. We have been trained slowly over the years through advertising.
  13. I forgot all about CW"s build Always enjoyed that one. Wonder what happed to that truck......
  14. Maybe I should clarify, flushing a radiator, in my opinion, is a diagnosis tool. If it plugged once it will plug again. However flushing can be a good way to narrow down the causes without firing the money cannon. When I started to author my first post i almost recommended replacement, but some members are too nostalgic to replace an original radiator with Chinese junk, so I didn't.
  15. Looks pretty complete. I'd be tempted to go after the whole truck not just the grill
  16. Flush the radiator both ways, might be able to get the deposits out.
  17. Have you flushed it both directions?
  18. Well crap. Looks like ill have to work some overtime.....
  19. I would start by flushing the radiator, paying close attention to what comes out. Anything chunky woukd make me consider a new radiator. Same with the heater core. Might be worth trying some flush in a bottle snake oil to see if she won't "come around".
  20. Burp it from the temp sender at the back of the head. Good chance if everything is functioning properly that there is air in the system.
  21. Mine is a 5/8" hex bolt. And yes they were all torqued by a 900lb gorilla from the factory and wall require major force to break loose. After the bolt is loose its easier than changing your socks.
  22. Dexter recently put out a video about this. He sells kits that have all the correct sizes, according to his video. I used a felpro kit on mine and it no longer leaks.
  23. Shocked my clunker made a list.....
