Drive it? Ugh, makes my back hurt just thinking about riding in my cj that long. I havent driven it in several years but from what I recall they arent exactly "road trip friendly". Would make for a really cool trip......

If I had to pick something I don't like about mj's, I would say the towing capabilities are disappointing at best. That said, it is any incredibly awesome combo.

Simple minds giving in to well researched and pitched marketing. Same reason everyone wants the latest and "greatest" phone. We have been trained slowly over the years through advertising.

Maybe I should clarify, flushing a radiator, in my opinion, is a diagnosis tool. If it plugged once it will plug again. However flushing can be a good way to narrow down the causes without firing the money cannon. When I started to author my first post i almost recommended replacement, but some members are too nostalgic to replace an original radiator with Chinese junk, so I didn't.

Looks pretty complete. I'd be tempted to go after the whole truck not just the grill

Flush the radiator both ways, might be able to get the deposits out.

I would start by flushing the radiator, paying close attention to what comes out. Anything chunky woukd make me consider a new radiator. Same with the heater core. Might be worth trying some flush in a bottle snake oil to see if she won't "come around".

Burp it from the temp sender at the back of the head. Good chance if everything is functioning properly that there is air in the system.

Mine is a 5/8" hex bolt. And yes they were all torqued by a 900lb gorilla from the factory and wall require major force to break loose. After the bolt is loose its easier than changing your socks.

Dexter recently put out a video about this. He sells kits that have all the correct sizes,according to his video. I used a felpro kit on mine and it no longer leaks.

I understand that. I once towed a 92 dodge spirit on a tow dolly from kansas city to fort wayne and it had several sketchy moments involved. That trip made me full aware of the need for a heavier tow rig. Not saying it can't be done, lord knows ive hauled much heavier stuff, just saying a half ton pickup would be much safer/comfortable.

I never flat towed my cj7 however I trailered it behind a comanche once. Never again. Trailer and cj outweighed the mj. They just arent heavy enough. Full-size half ton at least.
