    I need to replace the plug for the alternator on an 88 MJ 4.0. Is there a generic alternative I can find at a chain store or am I stuck sourcing one off another truck? Thanks fellas!

    Check your unit bearings for play also, may have one ready to give up which would cause that noise.

    Skid Row Off-road makes a great transfer case skid.

    Front axle is gonna take alot of work, since it's a leaf spring axle. I also believe the clocking of the transfer case is different and make cause interference with the MJ body.
