Still picking at this here and there. Have redone all the brake lines and hoses as well as replaced the shifter seal in the transmission. Need to get the windsheild reinstalled in the cab and than hopefully work on sitting it to the frame in the coming weeks.
Ive had this same result with my 2wd when it rains hard......not sure where it comes from, ive sealed below the blower motor and part of the cowl, only happens after continuous hard rain so I'm not too worried with it.
September 2005 I became an official member of this forum. Its still strong and active 10 years later. I know I'm not alone in this club either.
here's to many more
Flooring is installed and I'm currently working on running new nickle alloy brake lines. Still hoping to have the cab sitting on the chassis by winter time. Piece by piece...
Here's another vote for to stay away from straight piping it.....the drone is awful and the lack of back pressure makes even the slightest hill feel like pikes peak... Haha I had to learn from experience.
The summer humidity and The railroad have been keeping me away from this more than id like, I did get the new headliner installed today and I'm still hoping to have the cab on the chassis by Winter time ;)
I'd be all over that. Sure I'm building a variation of a J20 now but someday I'd love to have another kept close to original specs. That thing looks gorgeous!
Man I really have about done everything ive wanted to do as far as Comanche builds. An "Archer" truck would be cool though!
As for "someday" builds, Once the J Truck is near completion id love to dig into an AMC Eagle SX4.
