I used an old roll up sled to make guards protecting the distributor and throttle body sensors under my vents.

Flooring is installed and I'm currently working on running new nickle alloy brake lines. Still hoping to have the cab sitting on the chassis by winter time. Piece by piece...

My 2wd 88 sportruck had a trac lok 44 installed from the factory, stranger things have been discovered. Lol

Here's another vote for to stay away from straight piping it.....the drone is awful and the lack of back pressure makes even the slightest hill feel like pikes peak... Haha I had to learn from experience.

Haha yeah that.....its laying out now letting the wrinkles work emselves out.

The summer humidity and The railroad have been keeping me away from this more than id like, I did get the new headliner installed today and I'm still hoping to have the cab on the chassis by Winter time ;)

I'd be all over that. Sure I'm building a variation of a J20 now but someday I'd love to have another kept close to original specs. That thing looks gorgeous!

If you decide to upgrade id be interested in your stock mirrors. I personally like them, lol

Man I really have about done everything ive wanted to do as far as Comanche builds. An "Archer" truck would be cool though! As for "someday" builds, Once the J Truck is near completion id love to dig into an AMC Eagle SX4.

Knipping away here and there between work and the crazy humidity. I have the majority of the frame coated now and will begin running new brake lines shortly. As for the cab, new venial flooring, headliner and door/windsheild seal(s) are on their way. :thumbsup:

Yeah, it seems a lot of them have been killed....ill make sure some new ones show up next time its out.

Just feel like bumping this project up. Haven't done anything new, just wash and wax and some joyrides and carshows.....still love seeing this truck in the sunlight
