Great. Hopefully won't turn out to bad :D

Oh and if nobody noticed in the picture I also got the flexible brake lines going from the WJ MC to the proportioning valve (thats what it's called, right? Lol) I've heard that having them makes the install easier?
-
I guess I will figure out for myself when I get around to doing that this summer :D
-
Oh, I thought it was the other way around! I'll probably space it anyways due to the same reasons you had to. I'm sure the same fitment issues would happen with my 89.
-
Without the spacer the pedal sits lower as well, if I remember correctly. Main reason I'm going to space it out. Thanks! :D

Managed to score a WJ booster/MC and all four front control arms yesterday! Guy wanted 125 but I talked him down to 90 because I was pulling them myself :D all of the bushings seem be good with some little cracks and one slightly less little crack on one bushing (not sure if I'll change them or not yet) but otherwise in great condition. Only thing is that the BB/MC didnt have the firewall spacer, but I will just use washer when it comes down to it. Next on my list is ZJ gearbox and rear disks or piecing together a Super44 muffler with a Walker tailpipe.

I PM'd you about the leaf springs, if you still have them.

Whats the tail pipe like? It looks bigger than stock for sure. No cat or cat? Stock pipe from manifold to the muffler? I love the sound. Absolutely adore it. -

Are those 31" tires? I absolutely love the stance your Jeep has. -

Wish my Comanche didn't need a transmission so I could join in on this.. Birmingham is only about 45 minutes from me. -
Just bought a lift kit.
Knucklehead97 replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Perfect! It might not look to bad with my 235's either then :D I just gotta save up for the winch plate/winch while keeping enough cash in case an AX15 shows up lol. -
I just bought 2 Rugged Ridge 2" lift kits for an XJ for 50$ brand new. A friend was selling and amazingly enough they're legit. Parts numbers and all match up. I know the front works for my MJ is why I got them. How much will the shackles lift the rear of my MJ? I plan to put a Detour Offroad winch plate on the front with a winch so the front will lower some from that. Do ya'll think that after the front settles down from the winch and all that the front and rear might be about the same lift if I use the 2" XJ shackles?

Krustyballer Fabrications

It does look good under there. Seems to add a little protection for the bumper as well since it hangs down lower than the bumper. I"ve always loved diamond plate step bumpers... don't know what it is about them!- 197 replies

I wish I could find the picture of how close it fits to the bumper. I just love the way the FEY looks and probably am going to end up getting it and one of your hitches.- 197 replies

HITCH PLATES!

Great! In that case I'll probably end up getting a bumper from you to set aside for my Jeep when I get some extra money. Thanks! -

Where did the thread for the rock sliders go? I can't find it anywhere. I'm super excited to see how the tube-step sliders and rear bumper look! Will the rear bumpers hitch be as strong as your factory style hitch? -
Great! Might buy a fancy program for it eventually after I searched and saw what some of them offered.

WJ control arms.

Well my daily driver has set back any parts for my Jeep.. Front main seal is leaking half a quart every 40 miles and it sounds like I might be getting a engine knock. The seal has to be changed asap. Tried to do it myself but couldn't because of a reason that is more trouble to explain than I feel like going through. As much as I hate it I have to pay a shop to swap the little 10$ seal in. -
So I realized today when my new cars check engine light came on that I really need a scan tool for OBD systems. Especially considering out if the 6 cars my family owns, my Jeep is the only one that doesn't take an OBD scan tool. I'm fixing to be buying a laptop. Is there any chance I can buy a scan tool adapter and program so I can just use my laptop as a scan tool? That would be awesome haha.

I heard recently from some people that Moog's quality is starting to dissapear as well, which kind of sucks... I can't decide whether I want to eventually get the Prime Choice for 108$ or Dorman for $127. Moog would be about 160$ if Rockauto would get enough back in stock. The ideal choice would be Mopar but each arm is about 80$...
